Cozy Cottage on Lake Michigan

This summer cottage is just the right size for a relaxing getaway. It is located on 3 acres with 400 feet of Lake Michigan frontage right out your front door. Relax by the firepit, cook out or just catch some rays all while you enjoy the view of the lake. The cottage has two bedrooms with a full size bed in each, bathroom with a shower stall, living room, a screened in porch and a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator and microwave. Very quiet and private setting that is 30 minutes south of Door County or 30 minutes east of Green Bay.
Due to the high water levels on Lake Michigan we have lost a lot of land and no longer have access to the beach. This property currently has only a lake view.

We had two adults and two dogs stay for a long weekend and we couldn’t have been happier. The photos for the listing can’t even do justice to how adorable, clean and tranquil this property is. Every detail was attended to from a fully stocked kitchen to soft towels and bed linens to one of the best binders of information about the property, etc. we’ve seen. It was very obvious that the host takes great pride in her property and it was much appreciated.

Another Wonderful Visit

This was our second stay at this cabin in as many years, and like the first, we thoroughly loved it. The Lake Michigan views are beautiful, the stars at night equally so, and the large size of the property was wonderfully accommodating for our two dogs. We hope to make this an annual event for years to come.

Loved this cabin

My sister and I like to spend a week each summer at a cabin. This is one of the best we’ve stayed at for these reasons: The furniture and beds were very comfortable; the shower was smallish but had excellent water pressure; the property was set back from the (quiet) road and had lots of outdoor seating and a fabulous view of Lake Michigan. Everything was exactly as described in the owner’s posting about the cabin and communication with her couldn’t have been better. And we really, really enjoyed the screen porch!

Quaint cabin on Lake Michigan

Rustic cabin. Nicely furnished & comfortable. Great views of lake from picture window and screen porch. All cooking supplies, dishes & glassware appeared to be brand new. Owner very welcoming and responsive. Close to cute town of Kewaunee.

A lovely place to unwind

This was our second stay at the property. We love the killer views of the lake, the quiet, and the privacy. The cabin is well appointed with everything we could possibly want during our time there. And the convenient location of the property allowed us to easily enjoy meals at an assortment of supper clubs, coffee shops and bars between Kewaunee and Algoma. We hope to return next year!

Lakeview Cabin

This cozy cabin overlooking Lake Michigan was perfect for our five day get away. It afforded a views of lovely sunrises and tranquil nightfalls. The cabin location was ideal for exploring the Door County area. It was well-stocked, spotless and nicely decorated. We would consider a return visit.

Hidden Paradise

From the first moment we arrived at the cabin we were mesmerized. The view of Lake Michigan is stunning, and the three-acre grounds are surrounded with beautiful trees which allowed our two dogs to play with each other unabated by other dogs or neighbors. The peace and serenity whereby all that one hears are the wonderful waves from the lake are a great contrast to city living. The log cabin itself is truly charming with a screened porch that allows you to enjoy the lake should it be raining. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything one would need. Our hostess, Linda, could not have been nicer. We loved every minute of our time there.

Just as described and a very nice owner who is easy to communicate with. No beach access from property, but a very private beach about a 10 minute walk down the road.

Wonderful get away

Enjoyed a beautiful view of Lake Michigan with both sunrise, sunset and moon rise. Well furnished kitchen. No wifi was such a blessing!

Beautiful Cabin with a beautiful view!

We are so glad to have found this beautiful Cabin. The view is absolutely amazing! The Cabin was immaculately clean and was stocked with all the essentials needed. We really enjoyed using the fire pit everyday, as well as the screened in porch. Lots of good places to eat in the area, as well as a nice winery. We will definitely rent this cabin again, we didn't want to leave. Thank you Linda for everything!

Wonderful stay on Lake Michigan

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Lake Michigan! The view was great and we liked to see the various birds on the water and flying overhead. We spent our time visiting nearby sights in Kewaunee, Point Beach and Green Bay. The cabin was perfect for staying in on a rainy day to do puzzles and play games.

Beautiful view

Really nice cozy cottage on the lake. Was small, but worked perfectly for our family with a 1 and 4 year old. The cabin is close to the road, but the road was not busy at all. It was clean, had a wonderful view, and was well stocked (kitchen, box fans, TV). As the listing says you can no longer get down to the beach from the property which is a bummer. But Kewanee and Algoma are short drives and have a great beaches for the kids. Only downsides were: - no wifi (but there was cable, DishTV; I'd rather habe WiFi) - no dishwasher - no fire wood provided (but pretty cheap in town) - bit of a drive if you have things you want to do in door county (half hour from Sturgeon Bay, about a hour to Bailey's Harbor).

beautiful secluded view of the lake!

this lovely cabin was immaculately clean on our arrival. the yard was large and secluded an we used the fire pit alot. our pet loved the screened in porch, we had coffee there every morning morning. it did get quite warm in the day but there are plenty of fans provided. there is a nature trail just a short walk down the road that takes you to the water. we came upon a buck getting a drink in the lake one morning. i highly recommend this rental.

Hot weather with a cool lake breeze

The place and location is exactly as described and I give it five stars. We loved the privacy and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a well-stocked grocery store in Kewaunee. We would stay here again as well as recommend it friends. I want to thank Linda for sharing the amazing view of Lake Michigan with us for a week. It was so nice to have the lake breeze on the hot days.

Fun Fishing Weekend for 4

Great accommodations for 2 couples on our annual salmon fishing weekend on Lake Michigan! Linda is an excellent host with great communication, the property is very clean and the view is the best! Would definitely book again!
