Was very pleased with all aspects of our stay.
House was clean and everything worked properly.
Enjoyed the privacy of the property.
I would definitely stay again if in the area in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay at this place. Everything was very clean and updated and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch it was very relaxing and always had a nice breeze. The host was excellent. We will definitely be staying here again.
Nice place for a family getaway. Quiet area. Not to far of a drive to attractions. Burnsville is a cut small town. Fresh eggs upon arrival. We did run out of toilet paper during our stay and went and bought some other than that the place was great .
Nice place to stay and was very very clean. Easy to get to as well
Just a couple of comments. The room deodorizers were much too strong, especially where people that might have allergies. Would also suggest that you put handrails on stairs going up onto the porch and then from the porch up to the front door for the older generation. In the bedroom with the bunk beds I felt the ladder was unsafe. I would suggest not using bunk beds at all. Two twin beds in an l-shape would fit fine in the room. I am sure this is something that is out of your control but on two different days dogs came up on the porch to the house. I am afraid of dogs and was surprised they were running loose. But I know that can't be helped by you. Overall, the home was lovely and was extremely clean . Everything you could think of was there. It was a lovely stay overall. And the view is very pretty. Thank you so much!
The house was very nice, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The host, Heather was very nice and helpful. We went to play golf and found an excellent course, Mount Mitchell Golf Club, just 20 minutes from the house. We recommend it highly. We found two drawbacks that were significant to us. There were 10 - 12 power interruptions while we were there. Most were less than a minute but one was for 3 hours. The wifi also went out for about 20 hours at one point. The short power glitches might not be a problem for most people but my wife and I both use CEPAP machines which cut off if the power is out for even a couple seconds. One night the power dropped at 1 am, 1:40 and 5:00. So we woke up 3 times that night. The other downer was lack of any good restaurants nearby. There are lots in Asheville but that’s a 45 minute drive. None of this is Heather’s fault, of course, but it was a problem for us.
It's great for families with kids, there's a foldable crib in the house which has been a concern for us when living in other rented houses.
There are k-cup coffee/creamer, vegetable oil, all kinds of seasonings, and even bartender kits provided in the kitchen!
The bathroom is also great with shampoo, body wash, etc and everything.
All you need is to prepare nice food you love and enjoy a comfortable stay in this house!
Most importantly, the host is so considerate that there was a warm welcome written on the whiteboard before we arrive. And I left a jacket in the house after returning to MD, the host shipped it to me right after the next day.
Beautiful terrain, clean, cool night life, and great hosts.
