The property was very stylish and tasteful. It was a great base to spend Christmas near our son and daughter-in-law. Daniel and Heather were very easy to communicate with and very obliging.
Location is quiet and scenic. The owners communicated clearly and checked in to make sure everything went smoothly. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking and includes the basics, in addition to coffee, spices, etc which is helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area!
Everything far exceed our expectations. Well maintained property, and secluded whole also still being very close to shops etc. I will definitely stay here in the future again.
This was our second stay at this property and we’re looking forward to our third. It works great for us in terms of location, amenities, quiet and privacy. Also we love the setting among the trees.
Chez Squeak is a beautiful chalet perfectly located near downtown Issaquah with easy access to Seattle expressways. This home is absolutely incredible in every way...the owners have thought of every detail and you are completely surrounded by trees which offers a quiet and tranquil experience. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the main bathroom offers heated tiled floors! Furnishings are beautiful, ecclectic, warm and welcoming. 2 large decks include a comfy hammock and lounge chairs for downtown. The front entrance is amazing with awesome rockscape and a waterfall....beautiful tranquil setting. I cannot say enough about this property and will definitely come back when visiting family in Seattle. The property owners are super conscientious, quick to respond and accommodating in every way. Thanks again!
This place was such a great find. It is the perfect setting and so relaxing and comfortable! It’s even better than the pictures and that’s saying a lot. The hosts were great and very responsive. We highly recommend this rental if in the Issaqua area. We have family here so will definitely come back.
My dream was the ultimate Washington experience, and I got it! This house is adorable, comfortable, and gorgeous in every way! It is the quintessential (modern) cottage in a forest. My family spent 2 days here, and the first day we had so many plans and didn’t do any of them, we were so content and happy to just hang out and listen to the birds and creek while we talked, laughed, and made a lovely dinner. Thank you so much for a lovely and memorable time ❤️
We were pleasantly surprised at how much nature this property captures so close to the heart of Issaquah. Situated in a very green valley with lovely views from all rooms, this property was a fantastic getaway for a dear friend and myself!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property’s location just above downtown Issaquah is perfect. The property was a completely zen experience. So relaxing with beautiful views from every deck and window - completely private. We would definitely stay again!
Be aware that access to the front door is down a cascading staircase. Also all bedrooms are downstairs as well. This property would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Also note that children are not allowed due to high decks over the wooded ravine below.
The treehouse was the best house we have stayed at in our VRBO experiences. The fairy lights were hard to figure out how to turn off but overall a positive calming and enjoyable abode.
What a gem nestled in a quite, beautiful neighborhood. Close to town but felt like you were miles away from anything. The house was conveniently located to all the places we wanted to go. Very clean, cozy and wonderfully decorated. My wife and I will definitely stay here again.
The layout of the property was designed for comfort and convenience. We enjoyed beautiful woodland views, a full kitchen (we love to cook) and convenient access to town. Lower level bedrooms helped when we didn’t go to bed at the same times. Furnishings were well appointed, beautifully coordinated and comfortable. I especially appreciated art work that was culturally diverse. We would consider coming for an extended stay as we are interested in moving to the area.

Beautiful location, beautiful home
I rented this location for my daughters 31st birthday. What a beautiful space! It accommodated our family greatly!
Unfortunately, the communication with management didn’t meet expectations. We were supposed to be in at 4pm and we’re not let in until 8pm. We had contacted Vrbo customer service to get in touch with them, but they were not able to reach them. Our family was scheduled to arrive at 8:30pm. When we finally got connected with the owner he said he didn’t realize what day it was. Unfortunately he was thinking the day was 10/29 rather than 10/30. I asked them if there was anyway if we could check in earlier, but they told me no. Reason being because they’re were guests before us so they needed time to clean. The ad states that there is a 2 day period between occupants. So this clearly was not the case.
This location is beautiful! The home is well maintained and they even provide a book to show their journey! Would recommend to others, strongly encourage better communication.

This is one of the those instances in which our expectations were pretty high based on our review of the property online and our familiarity with the area in which it is located. Those expectations were exceeded from the moment we arrived until we checked out two weeks later. If we could have given six stars in our review, we would have.
The facilities in the house were very accurately described on the VRBO website and the photos gave us the impression that we would be pleased with the style of house, the furnishings and the natural setting of the house. The setting was even more beautiful than we had imagined. And, the house was exactly what we needed for two weeks of our vacation in the Pacific Northwest.
The entry, great room, dining area and kitchen all provided excellent views of the very private outdoor setting. The interior of main floor was modern, technologically up to date and very functional for us. The bedrooms on the lower level were spacious and well appointed. We both slept well every night.
We should also add that the owners were attentive but without being intrusive. They checked with us a couple of times to be sure everything was ok. It was. We appreciated their efforts and their responsiveness to our questions before we made the reservation.
We should also point out that there are some terrific restaurants in Seattle and Kirkland. We enjoyed dinner in several of our old favorites. From this location in Issaquah, we more than once made the early evening drive to downtown Seattle in about 30 minutes. The same was true for driving to Kirkland.
If you are ever looking for a very convenient and wonderful place to stay in the Seattle area, this is it. We just have one request. Please don't book your stay for the two week period when we plan to return next year.

Three best friends booked the Tree house for a couple nights. The property is absolutely beautiful. There’s were touches of spa and indulgence everywhere. Waterfall feature. Twinkly lights. Soft music playing on arrival. Felt very welcoming. Beds were extremely comfortable, which was good because we all wanted to fight to sleep outdoors in the deck! Serene luxury. Private and well cared for by the owners! We will return!
