Great property, cozy house. View is great
Property in a great location away from city And yet close to store if you need anything. View is great. The best thing is that their is no TV. Meaning you will have all the time to spend with your spouse, kids, friends and family. During our stay we had on top of the 2’ of snow we had 2’ 1/2’ feet of new snow, that was a blast! :) The respond from property owner was fast. I recommend this property for others to come at least few family’s and enjoy the peace and quiet and away from technology.

We LOVED absolutely everything about this property and cabin. The photos dont do it justice! The owner was very responsive and wonderful to communicate with. The place was spotless.. The hot tub and sauna were an amazing way to relax at night.. We cannot wait to return.. in the winter!! Thank you, for a wonderful, relaxing weekend away.

Fantastic views in well-appointed home
We had a wonderful time taking in the views, going for hikes, soaking in the hot tub, playing games, swimming in rivers, and relaxing at this beautiful home. The hosts have given a lot of attention to make sure everything is luxurious and convenient. Would love to return in winter! One thing to note if you’re traveling from afar as we are is that the house doesn’t have trash service so you have to pack out your trash. A beautiful, peaceful home- would highly recommend!

Cle Elum Vacation
The neighborhood and property is beautiful. The views are spectacular; we spent most of our stay sitting on the porch just taking in the scenery. The beds were comfortable, everything was as described.

Mountain escape with modern comfort
Modern and cozy. Balance of mountain play and remote Work from home ability. We enjoyed a mini getaway to have closer access to the trails we love. The house has everything you need even a great working kitchen. Wi fi and connection when you needed it; conference calls and zoom etc. Lots of baking and cooking wholefoods with fresh picked fruit in the mornings from the garden. Such a treat to get to share this little piece of heaven on earth. It was so hard to leave and we will for sure be having cabin withdrawal today! Thank you for opening your beautiful, family friendly and pup friendly home for others to enjoy its beauty! We can’t wait to enjoy it again in winter!

Not ready to Rent
Three days before arriving I was notified that the deck would be out of commission. However, I did not know that workers would be outside our windows at 7am. I mean we could have all eaten breakfast together, because they were feet away with no window coverings. The views on deck are great , but we couldn’t use it. The bathroom were filled with owner personnel items. Including and not limited toothbrushes , and old toothpaste . Used toothbrushes are a Covid issue. The refrigerator had things that smelled. Not just canned beverages! My brother opened stove to toast bread( couldn’t find toaster) he shut it and said don’t look in there. I could go on , but useless. I asked owners for partial refund, but Casey did not think anything was wrong.

Relaxation at its Best
We loved bringing our family here. Beds were super comfortable and loved the big table for our family meals. Wish we would have been able to use the barbecue and the deck, so that was a slight disappointment, but we loved walking the trails and walking through the lovely little fruit orchard. Even though the basement is unfinished (and we would never sleep down there) we really had fun playing ping pong and fooseball :)

Girls cabin weekend
This property is gorgeous! Just 10 minutes outside of town but you feel out away from everything! The common area is spacious and the kitchen is very well stocked. The master is beautiful, the two downstairs bedrooms are nice as well, and the basement is unfinished (as noted by the host) but comfortable. We would love to stay again, an absolutely perfect place for our girls weekend! Would be incredibly cozy in the winter as well.

Beautiful House with Gorgeous View
We had a wonderful stay in Enchantment Hill! The house was secluded with breathtaking views all around. Every night we were treated to unique colorful sunsets and enjoyed playing ping-pong and darts. The location makes it very easy to get food from Cle Elum or Roslyn as well as take day trips into the surrounding wilderness. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Deer, Meteor Showers, and swims in Cle Elum Lake
We had a great time from start of our vacation to the finish, and couple of concerns. Our first impression gave us a slight pause, we noticed long distance power transmission lines behind the house on approach, but while they looked close from afar, they were pretty far away up close, and invisible with the forest in front of the house. The house has a beautiful view of the open sky with majestic mountainous and evergreen view. We found the property very clean, well furnished, and eclectically decorated. Our mornings were usually started with breakfast on the deck while soaking in the morning view. After snack preparation we packed “the band” (4+1 yo kids & dog) , and headed to Cle Elum Lake to stand up day camp. Our day was spent at the lake until it was time for afternoon nap. After nap, we headed to town (Cle Elum for ice cream, and Roslyn to inspect town we passed through each day on our way to the lake), or hung out by the house on porch swing or hammock, while kids made mud ‘soup’ in outdoor play kitchen. Dramatic sunset view accompanied our dinners, and after fairy tales and good nights for the kids, we settled back on the porch to watch stars, and even saw few meteors. There are couple of areas of concern we have, both related to safety. About a day before arrival, we received a note form the owner about ‘not leaning’ on deck railing, which is in-fact loose, and 12 ft off the ground, so we spent fair amount of energy keeping our kidos off the rail. The deck itself could use replacement of couple rotting boards, and some ‘hammer time’ to drive nails heads back into the wood where they popped up about 1/16 of an inch. Concern number two is the unfinished basement, which has exposed fiberglass insulation. The house advertises sleeps 9, 3 of which are accounted for by the beds in unfinished basement. Since our friends and their kids couldn’t make the trip, this didn’t directly impact us, beyond doing a double take, and calling basement off-limits.

Great place to stay
We had an amazing weekend here. All the comforts of home a person could ask for. The views are breath taking, saw at least 10 turkies and a deer walked right up to the house. Only noise was frogs at night coming from the garden. Hard to believe town is 10 minutes away. All guests said the beds were very comfy. I know I enjoyed the master suite, 5 star quality. The lower floor is being remodeled, so alot of bare walls, bare plumbing but not bothersome and when done will add to an already beautiful house.

Beautiful peaceful setting
We enjoyed our stay there however there were a few inconveniences such as spending too much time looking for toilet paper and being required to wash our towels and sheets before checking out. Also the house is older and does need some attention. Regardless... the setting view make this a nice place to stay... just a 5 min drive to Cle Elum and the very small town of Roslyn (of "Northern Exposure fame"

Perfect balance between comfort and rustic charm
We had a great stayed at this property. The property is secluded, and yet with an amazing view of the Cascade and farmland, yet super close to Cle Elum. Our kids loved playing in the expansive field in front of the house and we could oversee everything from the balcony. The house had all plenty of backyard games and toys for kids and adults. We would absolutely recommend a stay here especially if you are looking for a great and fun filled retreat from the city life.

What a view!
This house feels like it’s very remote, yet it’s only 90 mins from Tacoma. The huge windows and elevated deck allow various viewing options of an expansive valley valley with a lovely meadow and trees and a sky full of stars at night. There were 8 of us that stayed and enjoyed close access to CleElum lake and a variety of hikes and other outdoor activities. One bedroom had bunk beds and our nieces loved them. The house is being remodeled and should have good things In the future.

We are the Brynestads, Husband and Wife with our Daughter Emma and Bernese Mountain Dog Ellie. No one loves this home and 13 acres to roam around on more than the dog. (if you have a well behaved dog, we will make an exception, just message us. )
We grew up in the PNW as our parents did and have a home in Seattle and now here in Cle Elum. We love to play outside, host family and friends, have game night, room the land with our kid and dog and work on never ending house projects. We also love to laugh, try new food and enjoy the peace and quiet this city escape offers.
We love Cle Elum, the town, and mostly the quick and easy proximity to the lake and we hope you do too.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Enchantment Hill the moment we walked through the sun porch entry and into the enchanting 180 degree view of the mountains. The property rest about 2,200 ft elevation and overlooks the cascades on your left, Steward mountain and The Enchantments and then on to the Northern mountains. The home is also lined with trees and a large garden providing privacy. We love the layout and usability of the house. At night, if you turn off every light, lean back into the most comfortable recliner, you can watch shooting stars from the living room. Then as you retire into any bedroom, views are in each room.
