Beautiful home and guesthouse. Easy to get to from Denver/Fort Collins/Boulder/Longmont, just a few miles from downtown Estes Park. Lovely, quiet setting. Extremely clean and well-kept. Decor and decorations so nice. Kitchen amenities and supplies excellent. More than enough paper products supplied. Back porch is wonderful. Lots of outdoor seating. Lots of room for family in the living, dining and kitchen areas. Celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary and the happy couple stayed in the guesthouse, which is a home unto itself. Excellent communication with and from the owner prior to booking, prior to stay and during stay. Highly recommend. If we plan another family holiday in Estes, we will see if this one’s available. Book early because it goes fast and now we know why! We booked almost a year in advance for a holiday weekend. It’s a great place. Thank you. Well done.
Snowed Inn was wonderful for our friends weekend. We loved the comfy beds, the big couch and especially the patio seating. We star gazed in the front and had wine & cheese on the side patio. The pathways were well lit for getting to and from the guest house. Everything we needed was there including an ample supply of bath-size towels. Very nice place.
This home is perfect. It’s cozy and warm. The location is peaceful and quiet. Comfortable beds. Soft sheets! It’s far enough away from Estes that you don’t notice any busyness or traffic, yet close enough to make multiple trips. Our destination was Boulder, so it was a little bit of a drive, but a beautiful drive. Lots of space for all of us to have “a place”. Plenty of kitchen supplies to cook every day. This home is was just perfect and the owners were very responsive! We would stay here again for sure.
We had 6 adults in our party. We loved the home. It was clean and comfortable, and it was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch. It was stocked well. We would stay here again.
We had a wonderful time sharing this space with our family. The pictures don't do it justice - very clean, inviting, lots of space for our family. My son and his family stayed in the guesthouse with the little ones so they could have a private space for grandchildren to nap. Worked out perfect! Thank you!
This home is really nice and Cheryl was very quick to respond to our needs. We loved the L-shaped sofa so we could all sit together in the living room to play games and watch a movie. The covered porch is really comfortable and accommodated our group, but the highway was an issue for me. I sat there quite a bit, and would’ve loved to have peace and quiet. If that’s not an issue for you, this home is very comfortable and clean and the guest house would be fantastic for additional guests. Very convenient to Estes and the park.
Property was comfortable and clean with great amenities!. Close to Estes, and hiking trails. Appreciated the extra guest house for the additional room! Scenic views, but close neighbors. Had 2 elk stroll through the yard, which was awesome. Great trip!
This stay was so close to Estes park and everything we were wanting to do! We had a couple minor hiccups, but communication happened very quickly to get things resolved which was appreciated.
Cheryl was extremely responsive and open to helping with anything we needed. My family had a great Thanksgiving there. Pros: Great price and very cozy and thoughtful home with everything you need for a family stay. Great water pressure, appliances worked well, warm, etc. Super close to Estes Park as well as endless other fun things to do in the area. Cons: It's so close to everything because it is a stone throw from Highway 36. I missed that in the listing, and it was the only surprise really. There are plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the scenery but it will not be quiet as there will always be a car coming by. Not a dealbreaker, but it was an element. We also didn't love having to feel paranoid of the neighbor, though we never saw them nor did we have any sort of negative interaction. :)
Wonderful place, had everything we needed. Nicely stocked kitchen. Very clean and organized. Loved the two decks! Pictures don't do it justice, perfect spot!
Loved the cabin!!! Perfectly situated outside of Estes with an easy drive wherever we needed to go. Such a great place! We had 7 adults and we had plenty of space.
This was such a cozy little lodge! We loved sitting in the front porch during down times, cooking in the kitchen and grilling on the patio. Our daughter (21 months) was able to play freely and it was easy to keep track of her in the open floor plan of the kitchen/living/dining room area. Just a 10 minute drive to Estes Park and only a few more to Rocky Mountain National Park. Cheryl was great at helping us get ready for check in and answered quickly for any questions we had during the stay.
This home was perfect for our group. Lovely bedrooms and plenty of kitchen supplies and towels. The front porch was our favorite place! Check in and communication was so easy.
Cheryl and Dan provide excellent accommodations. All the beds were very comfortable and the towels were great. The property is very clean. Everything you need is pretty much provided. Only a short drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Note if you do go to RMNP while staying here use the Falls River entrance. Also, the grocery store is very close. We had a great time and it accommodated us (6 adults) very comfortably. We did take advantage of the guesthouse shower. Which was very nice due to all getting ready around the same time. Thank you Cheryl and Dan for allowing us to use your property.
Cheryl, the host, was prompt, professional, helpful, and friendly from start to finish. The cabin is the perfect place to enjoy Estes Park. It is super clean, well located, and has a wonderful charm to it in addition to having a great kitchen for cooking, incredibly comfortable beds and bedding, a relaxing and comfortable living room with a charming stone fireplace. Can't wait to visit this place again! And additionally, it is even better than the pictures-- which makes it a rare find!
This house and guest house is perfect. It is a few miles from town, but that is a plus.
Well equipped including spices and condiments which ia rare.
Owners are aqesome.
We stayed at this lovely home for 2 quick days, and didn't want to leave. Very clean, great location, and comfortable!! Loved having coffee in the morning on the porch - you get the warm sun and the wind is blocked. Vacation perfection.
The hosts are great communicators. They also gave clear directions to their cabin. It was clean and the kitchen had a great assortment of cooking tools and supplies. Their cabin is decorated with a cute woodlands theme and was very welcoming. There were also toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc in each bathroom, including a blow dryer. My family and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay and we look forward to booking another stay in the future.
Great house just outside of Estes. It served as a great home base for touring Estes. The house was nice and suited our families needs.

About the host
Hosted by Cheryl Anderson
We turned our family cabin purchased in 1986 into a vacation rental in 2002. We totally remodeled inside and out and designed with a professional designer to get all of the touches that make your stay more enjoyable. My husband, Dan and I live in Fort Collins, an hour away from Estes and do all of our own cleaning, maintenance, and improvements to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. I know you will love our warm and cozy home and the privacy the location offers.
Why they chose this property
Estes Park is just an hour away from our home, a great place for us to get away to one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. We originally built in 1986, remodeled in 2002, and continually work to improve the quality of the rental. Meadowdale Hills is a small subdivision with lots at nearly 2 acres with quiet and space. Elk love the meadow and ranch nearby and frequent our property.
What makes this property unique
Our home is only five minutes from downtown Estes Park making the location convenient but not in a crowded subdivision in town. My front porch is spacious with views that are inspiring. I provide many amenities so you don't have to pack so much for your trip, including condiments, spices, flour and sugar, robes, bag chairs for a picnic and many other items.
