A good house to meet up with family
the house fulfilled the remit as a good place to stay for a family with young children. My sister and I met up with my brother and his family who live in Germany. There was lots of space outside for them to play also with badminton set and archery. There was also good storage facilities for bikes etc.
We loved the large woodburner and plenty of logs which heated the house well.
The two toilets separate to the shower and bathrooms was also good.
We didn't like the nylon covers for the chairs as they kept slipping off! Also the TV room was cold but we preferred sitting in the large kitchen with the woodburner anyway. A fire guard for the burner would have been good for child safety.
We liked the area and the village, we didn't manage to visit the church but it looked to be very historic and worth a visit inside. We bought bread and patisserie from the boulangerie patisserie in Trainel and can recommend it.
We also went to Provins and Nogent and the nature reserve north of there. All worth a visit too.
