As soon as we walked into Cactus Cabin, I felt at home. It was so inviting! Everything was clean. We did have a minor issue with the hot tub not working but I messaged the owners, they responded very quickly and had someone out to fix it as soon as they could! Their prompt attention enabled us to enjoy the hot tub the rest of our trip! Communication with the owners was easy and they would respond quickly. I do not have a single negative thing to say about our stay here. We will definitely book with them in the future!
Allison and Jason are wonderful hosts. They provided us endless information leading up to and during our trip. The cabin was beautiful and they keep it stocked with some essentials to make your trip comfortable.
Thank you!
We had a great time at this property. We were so happy to have our dogs with us and they loved being in the mountains. We took nice walks around the neighborhood and enjoyed the beautiful views. The property was clean and well stocked. The owners were extremely quick in their response to the few issues we had. Would certainly recommend and we hope to return in the future.
The family and I stayed at the cactus cabin for a week. Everything was well maintained and clean. The property manager/owners were very detailed and responsive. The experience was very memorable!
We loved every bit of our stay at Cactus Cabin. The location was beautiful and just minutes away from local attractions. We felt right at home and very comfy there with our family, and it was even better with our precious pets there with us. We loved having the pool table, ski ball, and the spa too! Our hosts were great and pet friendly. We will definitely be looking to book this place again.
We live in Nashville so the drive is only 4 hours and a beautiful drive. Once we arrive In Pigeon Forge we do our grocery shopping for the couple of days stay.
The cabin is so gorgeous and comfortable and clean
It has everything we need to Cook eat and be merry.
The drive up to the cabin is amazing
Thank you for sharing your getaway with us
Thanks for sharing your cabin with my family. The cabin was located in a neighborhood that’s conveniently located to Pigeon Forge. Loved the decor and the touch of Arizona you accessorized with. Nice open concept with bountiful sunlight! Beds were amazingly comfortable. Only a couple issues experienced while staying at the Cactus Cabin. First issue was not enough hot water, ran out each time showering or bathing. Family of 4 could not all shower in the morning. There was also a terrible sewer smell outside, I do think this is out of your control because it was throughout the neighborhood. Lastly, cleanliness was mediocre (dirty rugs that smelled) and only one trash bag available. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a beautiful cabin.
We had a wonderful time at the cactus cabin!
The property was very clean and all of the appliances worked great! The beds felt like you was sleeping on a cloud. Very convenient location, the island is about 10 minutes away! Would definitely stay again!!
Wonderful time spent with the family in this spectacular cabin. Plan to stay again someday. I truly felt like home during our stay. Loved the gate on the porch which allowed our dogs to get some extra outside time. Everyone was comfortable and had enough space. We had a wonderful time and our hosts were very responsive. Will definately be recommending to everyone I get the opportunity to.
Alison and Jason are the perfect hosts and the cabin met all our needs for our stay. It was very clean and the owners checked in with us several times to make sure everything was good with our stay! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us so that we could enjoy hiking in the National park, Dollywood, and many other things in the area! The cabin was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do.
Loved our stay. 2 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms on first floor. Huge kitchen area, open space.
Communication with property manager was easy and responses were always prompt. Great customer service.
Jacuzzi was amazing especially after a long day of fun filled kid activities. Kids loved community pool as well.
Conveniently located, close to all attractions.
Highly recommend.
We had an excellent stay at the Cactus Cabin! The deck which you are able to close off was ideal for our dogs giving them a little space to freely move around. Hot tub was great and pool table and skeeball upstairs was great when we were not out exploring. Neighborhood was very nice and reasonably distanced from most attractions. Alison and Jason responded promptly whenever I had any questions both before and during our stay. Would definitely stay again.
My family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was centrally located to so many activities in Pigeon Forge. My kids enjoyed the pool table and skee ball game. The owners were very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed!
If you are looking for a cabin that is not too far from Pigeon Forge but still have that secluded feel to it, then this is the cabin for you. The cabin is about a 15 minute drive from the Parkway in PF. The roads were not bad to travel on either. The cabin is beautiful and I loved the wrap around porch.
Pros: Alison is a wonderful host and quick to respond to messages and any issues that I encountered. The AC works wonderfully. The main TV, the only one we used, worked great, and we could log in with our own accounts for whatever service we were streaming from. Just remember to log out before you leave. A lot of the visitors had not done that and you can see their accounts. The skee ball game is very addictive and we loved playing it. The jacuzzi was hot and nice the first day we arrived and my son and his gf loved it. There were plenty of towels for my group of 5 and you can wash them when needed. My hubby and I slept in the king size bed and it was so comfortable. My sons said their beds were very comfortable as well. Very dog friendly and Alison was willing to work with me on requests I had for my furbaby. Good deal of supplies to start with and the kitchen has plenty of supplies for you to prepare a meal.
Cons: The couch closest to the hot tub door was so very uncomfortable. The cushions kept sinking into the frame towards the floor. On the second day, my hubby inspected it to find that three screws were missing from the pull out bed frame and that is what was causing the issue with the cushions falling into it. I emailed Alison to let her know about it. She offered to send someone to fix it the next day, but since we had our 85lb labradoodle with us, I didn't want him getting excited with strangers in the home while we were gone. My hubby temporary fixed it so hopefully it was fixed after we checked out. We kept running out of hot water when all 5 of us tried taking showers in the morning around the same time. This was no one taking any longer than they needed. We made it work though.
Overall, my family and I had an amazing stay at Cactus Cabin and Alison was an incredible host. Alison, thank you for making our stay so warm and inviting.

Alison grew up in Arizona on a 1,000-cow dairy farm and went to school for merchandising. Jason grew up in Florida and went to school for Fashion Design. As fate would have it, Alison would travel for work to Florida where she met Jason in 2004 and the rest is history.
Married since 2006 with three darling daughters, we live in Arizona on a mini-farm with nearly 50 chickens, alpacas, pigs, and one bunny and guinea pig.
We love to travel as much as possible when the girls are not in school.
