Cozy Lakefront Cabin - Close to Everything!

Just 5 miles from Minocqua - our cozy lakefront cabin is a peaceful, private getaway with easy access to town!

Our sweet lakefront retreat is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, beautifully updated vacation rental with great outdoor space including a private dock, expansive deck with comfortable lounging furniture, table with 4 chairs, 2 oversized hammocks, gas grill and beautiful fire pit area . Direct access to Little Spider Lake!

The space
Enjoy your morning coffee with a view in our relaxing sun room with 2 separate seating areas. The main living space includes a 55 in. TV with Chromecast, Blue-Ray DVD player (with many movies), dining area and stocked kitchen. Brand new vinyl plank flooring was recently added to the sunroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. (TV does not have cable/satellite service, but has movies to watch on DVD or BluRay!). Our WiFi is from StarLink a beta satellite connection. Because it is satellite you may experience brief periods of interruption. It's not ideal for Zoom or video calls but is a great fast connection and works well for streaming.

With direct access to Little Spider Lake, you can easily spend your day fishing or cruising the lake. 4 kayaks (including 2 fishing kayaks) and a paddle boat that seats 4 are all available for guest use! The lake is a fully recreational 225 acre lake that is home to Musky, Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie, Bluegill, Perch and Walleye. Please note there is no sandy entrance to the lake and our protected bay has vegetation. This home is also very close to the Vilas County snowmobile trail system. We have 2 adult bikes to use on the extensive trail system in the greater Vilas County area. Woodruff with restaurants, a wonderful brewery and shops is less than 5 minutes away. The heart of Minocqua with shops, restaurants, trails, etc. is 5 miles from the cabin.

The cabin sleeps up to 6 people, between its two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds and there are ceiling fans in both rooms.

Note: Wood-burning interior stove is not available for use.

Other things to note
Most weeks in peak summer months require a 7-night minimum stay, Sunday-Sunday.

There are sporadic dates available throughout the summer requiring less nights, see calendar for details.

Other times of the year require a 3-night minimum stay.

Kayaks, paddleboat, outdoor furniture, etc. not available from November - April (or when the snow stops!)

Weekend getaway

We loved everything about our trip to this wonderful cabin! Everything was clean, the location was spectacular, and the cabin had everything that we were expecting. The only downfall about our trip were the mosquitoes, but we still had a lot of fun. Overall, we loved everything about our stay here!

Nice Cabin and Lake

Grandson and I had a nice time fishing on the lake, caught lots of Bass, a few Perch, Pike and many panfish. Cabin was comfy and clean, very satisfied with the owners communication. They we helpful and prompt.

Nice getaway

The property fit our needs for a couple nights. Fishing off the pier doesnt work so well. But went out on the kayak and hit 14 blue gills and 2 large mouth bass. Nice fire pit area. No air conditioning but it wasnt too hot at night

Perfection!

This is really one of those properties that you’d like to keep as your little secret - but it’s too awesome not to share. Everything was as it was described. Check-in smooth, communication with owners awesome, especially considering they were traveling and we had an eight hour time difference. Wifi great, bed comfortable, everything was clean and linens well-stocked. The kitchen was truly fully equipped and a great option for cooking. The water cooler, some’more supplies and popcorn were nice touches. As a solo traveler I’d like to mention there’s so much to do in the area that is very nearby. There’s also much to do at the cabin itself from cozying up inside to kayaking to taking out the paddle boat to enjoying the fire pit or the view from the dock. Really a wonderful stay and I would love to return!

Relaxing and Enjoyable!

This property was exactly as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped to allow for cooking, and there’s a dining area. The kayaks and multiple seating areas outside allowed for great outdoor recreation and relaxation opportunities. We would definitely stay again.

Great house for kayaking

Cute house on Spider Lake which is loaded with fish and great fun to kayak. The 4 kayaks provided were in excellent shape and only a year old. Communication with property managers was excellent. Great welcome booklet in the house to answer all questions. It's a small place, but every bit of space was used beautifully so we had room for everything. We were worried about no air-conditioning, but the house stayed cool during mild June weather. Very fun stay.

Clean, Cozy Cabin

We loved our stay at the cabin! It had it's own dock with kayaks and yard games (to our surprise). It was very close to neighboring towns for hiking, shopping, and dining. We would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin, great location

We loved our stay at this cabin! It’s very clean and comfortable, with every amenity. The sunroom and sliding doors provide great light and views of the woods and lake. Though there are neighboring cabins, it still feels private and peaceful. The location is terrific for lots of activities. We came to hike and bike, and had great access to the Heart of Vilas and Bearskin bike trails, as well as numerous scenic hikes in the state forest. Melissa and Erin also provide a folder full of info on places to go and things to do. We hope to return and highly recommend!

Clean and quiet

House was very clean and modern. Beds were comfortable, appreciated the drinking water and kitchen conveniences. Loved the kayaking and the paddle boat was a nice surprise. Thanks for making it a nice stay for our family!
