Lakefront Cabin, path to lake, private dock, fire pit! Near Lagrange and Auburn

The A-Frame on West Point Lake, newly renovated and charming ! This home has a unique cabin feel on the lake! It has a very large master suite with deck access. The upstairs loft bedroom has two full beds, a daybed and sliding door to small balcony. We have provided a fire pit area for fun in the fall and winter and a gas grill for outdoor cooking! Please note this is a non-smoking property.

Located on Stroud Creek, a very peaceful and serene area of West Point Lake! This retreat allows you to enjoy all the outdoor activities like boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming! During winter months the lake is lowered for dock improvements! The water levels are lower but views are still great! The cabin is still a wonderful escape for rest and relaxation! We have a garage studio apartment available that can also be rented for additional $100 per night and $100 cleaning fee. It has a kitchenette, closet, bathroom, sitting area and 2 queen beds. We have two single kayaks available to rent @ $100 for three days. WeeklyIf you book a week they are included for you to use at no charge . Pontoon boat available for rent, $200 for 8 hours or $500 for 3 days plus $75 fuel charge. Yamaha 60 hp Sweetwater, 10 person capacity. All safety requirements by DNR provided. Inspected and certified by Coast Guard. Please contact if interested! We will need to know prior to your stay if you would like to rent the boat. Private guided fishing trips available, please contact if interested.
There is a well stocked store about 2 miles down the road for anything you may have forgotten or ice for the cooler! We have 2 boat ramps within a couple miles (Dewberry and Rocky Point) and a private dock!
New Publix Grocery Shopping Center, Nail Salon, Chick fil a, Mexican Restaurant, Beverage Store, and other shops 10 minutes from cabin!

Only 15 mins to downtown Lagrange where you will find great restaurants and shopping!

Quick trip

We only stayed for a night, but definitely enjoyed it. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was just as described. The water is a little shallow around the dock, so if you plan to dock a boat just be aware. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful Lakefront Cabin

It was absolutely gorgeous. We had fun on the dock, caught a few fish, and grilled out a lot!The only thing we didn't like was how close the neighbors were. The bedroom windows are beautiful, but they face the neighbors kitchen and deck. We had to leave the blinds closed the whole time for privacy.Other than that, it was a great cabin and great stay!

What a wonderful getaway!

We spent a couple of days here over spring break and had so much fun just relaxing, kayaking, fishing, and hanging out around the fire pit. The lake house was adorable and very clean and the host answered any questions we had very quickly. We will be back!

I can't say there was anything we didn't like. We have stayed at this property before and the Hosts are great. They communicate more than efficiently is just been a great experience both times. We hope to have a 3rd time in the future.

We don’t know the water level was extremely low and could not dock our boat behind the cabin like we have in the past, which defeated our purpose for the trip. We made the best of the trip.

Beatiful house close to boardline between GA and AL

This property is very cute! The kitchen is small but very well equipped. I loved the outside view. The master bedroom is huge. The place invites us to relax and rest. The bed is very confortable. We loved our stay.

Relaxed Summer

This year was our third summer to stay at the A frame on the lake. It’s become a tradition for my little family. We look forward to it every year. The house is cozy and spotless. The lake is just a few steps away. The fire pit is perfect for making s’more’s and memories.The host is amazing and very easy to get in touch with. I rate this place a 10/10.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed rhe cozy A frame cabin. There was plenty of room for our family. The master suite was beautiful! Our children were able to fish right off the dock and caught multiple fish. We had a great visit.

Nice, Quiet Getaway

Our stay was just what we wanted. The cabin was in a great location. It had everything we needed. I especially liked the deck and also the chairs that were set out down by the water. We didn't cook at the cabin as there were so many restaurants in LaGrange. We spoke to the owners a couple of times, and both were more than helpful. Thank you to them and VRBO for being easy to work with.
