About this property

New construction (2021) 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home “on the hill” in Saugatuck! Home boasts open first-floor plan with large front porch and back deck, custom kitchen and bathrooms with quartz counters, granite wet bar with beverage fridge, and even a mudroom with built-in cubbies for all the summer beachgoing essentials. Rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower, hook up your music to the outdoor Bluetooth speakers, and enjoy indoor/outdoor living with a new grill and full wall of sliding glass doors overlooking the rear deck and yard. All-new outdoor furniture includes Adirondack chairs in front, comfy club seats in back, and a dining set that seats six. Home includes a full-sized washer, dryer, and dishwasher.

Sleeping arrangements include one queen bed in the master suite, another queen bed in the second bedroom, two twin beds in the third bedroom, and a daybed with trundle in the 4th bedroom. 4th bedroom also includes a desk for those needing a spot to work. The home has full baths in the master suite and upstairs, and a half bath on the first level. Please note no pets or smoking are allowed.

Home is located "on the hill" just a couple short blocks from downtown Saugatuck, allowing guests to walk to restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, river boat rentals, and the lovely downtown playground. The Saugatuck high school tennis courts, track, football/soccer field, and baseball diamond are just steps from the back door.

Family Getaway

Beautiful vacation home. Perfectly located for a short walk to town. This was our second stay at this property and it was as great as the first. John, the owner, was very responsive to any questions. We would stay here again!

Amazing Experience

We had to come in for a wedding from around the country. The house is gorgeous and super clean. The location could not be better. The host was so very kind and we are already planning a trip to come back!

Perfect home!

This property was truly amazing! It is beautiful, clean, wonderful location just a quick easy and pretty walk to all the spots, and the owner was incredibly kind and attentive! Fantastic property

We absolutely love 471 grand! The house was beautiful in the backyard and the landscaping was so nice. We enjoyed coffee every morning and happy hour on the beautiful porch. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Family Wedding

We were in for a family wedding, my 89 year old parents, my wife and sister and brother in law. Plenty of room to visit and relax comfortably. Great kitchen and dining room. Back porch and yard were ideal for grandkids and family to stop by visit. Tennis courts at school were used for pickleball. Will try to use this property again!!!!

Girls Weekend

The home and property were one of the most well cared properties I have ever stayed at. The girls weekend is something that we do annually. We’ve seen a lot of different homes, this one was truly one of the most comfortable and with the least amount of concerns . It was so easy to walk down to dinner and walk back to the house every night. The owner was very responsive, polite, and easy to deal with. I would love to come back and so would my friends! Perfect location, perfect home ,perfect weekend.

Home away from home

This was, by far, the best stay we have had in Michigan over the past 9 years! You can feel the quality in the home’s finishes. The hosts have thought of everything you didn’t even know you would need on vacation. We had a family of five here, with children, and easily walked to town for restaurants and shopping. It’s a must stay and we hope to be back!

Perfect vacation house for our family!

This was our first visit to Saugatuck and we had the BEST time! The house was perfect for our family. Everything was clean and appeared to be very new. The mud room was incredibly useful, the bedrooms were comfortable, and we spent a lot of time in the great backyard. The host had great recommendations for food and activities that were kid friendly and was very reachable if we had any questions. We had a really wonderful visit!!!

Loved our stay

We had a wonderful stay in Saugatuck. The house and everything in it was perfect! All our needs were met. The hammock and back yard were the favorites of the kids and young adults. My granddaughter had fun playing with the games provided. This is a beautiful home. Very clean and new. It worked perfectly for our family of eight.

Perfect home just steps from downtown

I can't say enough great things about our stay. First, the house was immaculate... upscale kitchen and bathrooms, gorgeous finishings, and a beautiful yard and outside space to top everything off. Second, the proximity to town was a game changer. We walked everywhere. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Saugatuck. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house

We had a wonderful family trip to Saugatuck. This was our first time to the area and this was the perfect location especially with two young children. The house is brand new and close to everything. We loved that we could walk to town and head back to the house easily when it was time for the kids to get to bed or take a nap. The backyard is beautiful and the house is nicely decorated. Mudroom for all the the stuff for coming in and out was great!

Pure Perfection!

Our group of 7 women stayed in this beautiful home for an extended girls' weekend. This home was absolutely perfect for us. It is practically new (having been built in 2021), extremely clean, and fully accessorized. The owner, John, could not have been nicer or more responsive to our questions. We opted to have breakfast in every day and took a shopping break to have lunch at the house as well. The location is perfect for walking downtown! We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck. We had coffee on the deck every morning and ate dinner outside on the deck our first night in the home. We had everything we needed to make morning smoothies and enjoy evening wine and snacks. We are already thinking about a repeat visit next year.

Amazing!

I have stayed at a variety of rental properties and this house is one of the top places I have visited. The owner is so nice and provides so many amenities for you to use at their brand new house. A big thing for me when I stay somewhere is the quality of the bedding and towels and they are top notch! All of us girls that stayed there kept saying how gorgeous the house was and so clean and nice. Run to rent this place. It is walkable to all things downtown and has really sweet neighbors!

Wonderful stay in Saugatuck

We had a wonderful stay for our girls' weekend at this home in Saugatuck. The location is great -- close to everything. We barely used our vehicle! The home was lovely and cozy, and we spent a ton of time out on the back patio -- mornings with our coffee (where we even got to recite the pledge of allegiance with the school PA system one morning) and evenings with a glass of wine. All the amenities were available, even beach items from our trip to Tunnel Beach. The host was very responsible and promptly attended to a minor issue we had, not affected our stay at all. Thank you! One note: the master bedroom bed frame sticks out somewhat more than the mattress, and it was very easy to whack that very hard wooden frame with your leg and I and another guest have a few bruises as a result. Perhaps some padding might be helpful there.
