Lovely retreat for our Dad’s 80th Birthday. Property and house were clean and had everything needed for a relaxing getaway. Large porch is comfortable rain or shine. We enjoyed seeing a bear and her three cubs on our last evening.
The cabin was a wonderful place for our family get together. There was plenty of room inside and outside for our grandsons to run around, play and just have fun together! The pine creek is at the end of the property, perfect for the fishermen in the family! The night sky is super to look at from the very large back porch. If you’re lucky you might even see some wild life. We saw a black bear taking a stroll across the back yard the one evening and a bald eagle down by the creek. All in all it’s a great place to relax and hang out! Would definitely recommend 👍🏻
We’ve had a wonderful time there. There is a big and well maintained properly at the back of the house with old oak trees and access to the creek. There is an old fashioned swing outside that was greatly enjoyed. The place was very clean. Besides bedroom and bathroom, there is a living room with couch and TV downstairs which is very convenient if you want to get away from kids. The house has a rustic feel, something we were looking forward to. Kitchen is small but has all the appliances. There are plenty of plates, cups, and wine glasses. If you plan to cook a lot I would suggest you to bring good knives. There is a big table in the dining room. There is a huge deck outside with tables and chairs/ benches. We enjoyed seeping tea while sitting in the rocking chairs outside. We rented bikes at the outfitters and enjoyed relaxing ride on the practically flat bike trail ( around 17 miles down the creek).
