About this property
Your nest in the Tuscany countryside
The rolling hills, the olive trees, the vineyards that surround the view. Simply Tuscany as you imagined it. A spacious open space on the garden floor illuminated by a large French window, equipped with every comfort. A well-equipped kitchen for those who love to experience local flavors, a large table surrounded by books and paintings with views of the surrounding countryside, and a bathroom with a large and comfortable shower. A terrace for relaxation a few steps from the pool.
The 70sqm open space is located on the garden floor of our family house. We are in the most classic Tuscan countryside halfway between Florence and Siena which are about 30km away, not far from San Gimignano and less than an hour from Volterra. We are immersed in a unique landscape and along the path preferred by bike lovers. We are happy to share with our guests the large garden and the small organic vegetable garden as well as the swimming pool from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the hills. Our family, resident in the property, consists of three people and three cats: we are pleased to welcome you and share with you our passion for Tuscany.
The open space consists of a large and well-equipped kitchen, a living area with a dining table, a space for relaxation with two sofas including a sofa bed, a space for rest with a queen-sized bed, a small walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with a spacious shower. You will be surrounded by art books, travel guides, and paintings. A reliable wifi internet connection is at your disposal.
- Please note that TOURIST TAX is paid upon arrival in cash: E.1.5 per person per day for the first 6 days of stay (adults and children over 12 years).
- We are happy to share our passion for cooking and art with our guests. We organize fun cooking lessons, in which we can make together the family recipes and the Tuscan and Italian traditions, taste our favorite cheeses, and the selection of wines in the area.
- If you are a bike lover, we are happy to help you with your rental: the roads around our house are a paradise for those who love cycling, and starting from here you can easily reach paths with different levels of difficulty for both beginners and experts.
- The car is recommended if you want to explore Tuscany, but no problem if you don’t love driving. We can pick you up at the train or bus station of Poggibonsi or Certaldo and help you with groceries.
- Our son studies piano and in the late morning or at the end of the afternoon will not be difficult to hear him play and maybe it will be pleasant for you to sip a sip of wine while enjoying the view and listening to the melodies of Mozart and Chopin...-
- I am an art historian and I will be happy to give you advice and if you also want to guide you in places to discover and original itineraries to visit Florence, the Chianti Classico countryside and the small cities of art. I also organize for you walks in the countryside in search of special places to photograph with picnics and tasting of the most typical products of our region.
