Perfect rental for Disney trip with our toddlers!!

We Loved this rental! We did 2 days at Disney and the drive to the parks was an easy 20-25 mins. The resort pool was super fun! We traveled with our 3 and 1.5 year old. The condo was very clean and ready for us! The set up of the condo was simple but perfect for going with toddlers as there wasn’t anything they could get into our is having to worry about them breaking! Communication with hosts was easy and they were very quick to respond! Also have a super easy check out of the property-we basically just needed to make sure lights were off and things were locked-again super nice and easy with toddlers! Would recommend this place and we will stay here again!

Reservation instructions were inaccurate

Upon arrival was unable to get into house with door code provided by owner. Attempted several call to both owner’s contact numbers with no response for 45 min. Contacted VRBO and waited another 20 min. Not as much as an apology from the owners. Couple days later emailed owner with some comments and received a message back that we should stay in hotel VRBO is not for us???? I have stayed in Vrbo for years so not sure why I was provided that assumption instead of a simple thank you for the comments and sorry for locking you out of the house for over an hour upon arrival. We were traveling with a 4 yr old and newborn who were both tired and hungry. Very rude!!!

Mostly happy

Pictures were a bit deceiving. Though the cleaning between guests was satisfactory, the overall condo needs a deep cleaning. In the pictures, the kitchen counters (and bathroom), seem to be marble or at least laminate but they are covered with some kind of “Maktak”. Some of it has been cut through or torn. (Not too sanitary). The condo advertises as being able to accommodate 8-10 people but there’s only 4 kitchen stools. But I have to say, when I reached out to the owners about a clogged drain and getting a couple of extra outdoor chairs, they responded promptly and took care of the issues within hours. A little bit of TLC (and new counter tops) would go a long way… ;)

UNACCEPTABLE

I was in Florida for a football tournament. Upon arrival I found this property to be filthy. Dirt behind the toilet, hair on the sinks, filthy bathroom mats, ants and roaches in the washing machine, Etc. There wasn’t even any toilet tissues for the children to use once we arrived. I IMMEDIATELY called the front desk to be told I had to contact the owner. The owner was VERY UNREASONABLE and NASTY. The toilet tissue and paper towels arrived 5 hours after my concerns. VRBO was ABSOLUTELY not understanding I NEVER got a refund or partial refund as promised. All communication had stopped between the owner and myself. SHE REFUSED to further communicate with myself in reference to my concerns. If it wasn’t for the surrounding parents who had their own lodging I don’t know what I would have done. I WILL NEVER DESL WITH VRBO AGAIN IT IS A FRAUD and A WASTE IF MY TIME and MONEY. LESSON LEARNED.

Great place to stay!

The condo was very clean, beds and bedding were comfortable and suited us very well. Dawn was extremely responsive to our requests, even when Spectrum's TV receiver stopped working. She had a Spectrum technician to replace it in one day. It was enjoyable to walk in the gated community with minimal vehicular traffic. A 10-15 minute walk to a Publix grocery/drug store, several restaurants and liquor store. Also, very close to theme parks, golf courses and other attractions. A community outdoor grill was right across the street. The resort was well maintained with two pools, a lazy river, water slide, games room and more. The resort staff were friendly and helpful.

Not what I expected

I wanted to love this place but I couldn’t. The communication with owners was fine , when I had an issue and there were plenty she responded . It’s just the response did not fix anything , or make the stay more enjoyable . The TV’s did not work, no cable connection in any any rooms . the air conditioner was set on 73 and locked , the smoke detector was beeping every min at one point , couldn’t sleep for days, I offered to replace the battery but couldn’t change it , it was 10 feet in the air . The dryer had no heat, had to go to the laundry mat after going to parks all day . I specifically rented a place with a washer and dryer so I could do laundry . Which probably wasn’t a bad thing the mold in the washer smelled disgusting . So I guess I expected all the comforts at home because I paid that , I just never received that . Again it’s a shame some tlc and upkeep this place would have been great. Instead it was a disappointment.

Disappointing

I don’t like surprise fees, mostly when you get them after the open window to get your money back if you cancel. There were many things broken, bunkbead was so very uncomfortable, master bathroom sink peeling, dirty pots and pans, I had to fix the dishwasher so we could use it, stairs going to second floor were dirty. The sad part is I could continue. This was our first time using VRBO and I don’t see us doing this again. I have pictures to back up my claims.

The perfect place for what we wanted.

Me and 2 of my daughters were going to Disney and wanted a place fairly close to the parks with activities at the resort. We also wanted to cook our own meals staying in the area for 11 nights. This place itself was beautiful, clean, stocked with all the utensils you needed. Multiple outside sitting areas. No bugs. It is comfortable and relaxing to come home from a day at the parks. Also off days are nice because the place is nice enough where you can stay in and feel comfortable doing on-site amenities. The room itself is very worth the price. And the communication from the host was perfect. The resort.... so I read some Google reviews and I was a little skeptical with the resort itself because of that. HOWEVER!!! I thought it was an absolute blast. Yes drinks cost and there is a daily resort fee you will have to pay but as long as you know ahead of time it shouldn't surprise you. The grounds were well kept. I had no issues checking in or out. And I had no neighbor issues or anything. Overall for me this was a huge childhood memory for my kids. I'm so glad I chose to stay with Dawn. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS LOCATION. Thank you one last time, Mike

Disneyworld Vacation

The townhouse more than met our needs. The three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, made for a very comfortable stay. The full kitchen saved us money not having to eat as many expensive restaurant meals. The pool area was extremely nice.

Are you looking for a place your kids will love?! Close to Disney? We are located in the Regal Palms Resort that is geared around fun for families. For the kids a water park w/water slide, pool & lazy river. Ice cream shoppe and arcade. For Mom & Dad we have a hot tub, tiki bar, fitness center and pool side restaurant. Resort fee $20 a night charged by the resort at check in

What makes this property unique

Entire 3 bedroom Townhome with balcony and patio. 3 bedrooms. Grilling pavilion directly across from our home. The resort has a water park with 2 amazing pools, a lazy river, poolside bar, waterslide, spa, steam room, fitness center, restaurant, and play areas for use during your stay. We are Just minutes from the Theme Parks, Disney, Gulf Clubs, and shopping. The resort fee covers free cable tv ,internet, 24 hour security and a landline telephone. Bedroom on 1st and 2nd floor. Laundry is on the second floor. Many amenities such as free WiFi, cable with over 300 channels. Kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare your own meals. Playpen and stroller available.
