In Denmark's border area there are many possibilities and some of Denmark's most interesting cities are not far away. Don't miss Aabenraa, which is particularly pretty and centrally located, surrounded by hilly woodlands and with a charming panoramic view over the fjord of Aabenraa. You should also visit Graasten and Gråsten Slot, where the Danish royal family meets every year. If you would rather enjoy the good weather and doze on the beach, you will find the most magnificent swimming beach at Varnæsvig, from where you can also take refreshing walks. As a guest of the house you have free access to the nearby outdoor swimming pool at the vacation center from 15.5. to 15.9.
