Fantastic Condo, Horrible Property Management
We absolutely loved the condo and the location—it was perfect for our trip. However, the Property Management company, Vacasa, made the experience frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. The condo owner should seriously reconsider their management choice.
We had issues with the Wi-Fi network name and password provided—it was incorrect. Reliable Wi-Fi was crucial for us since the local AT&T tower was down, leaving us without cell service, and we needed to work and stay in touch with family. Despite contacting Vacasa through every available channel—phone numbers, the VRBO platform, and even their app—we were met with bots, automated replies, and unhelpful responses. It took over two days to get any meaningful communication, and even then, it was evident that not only were the representatives not local, their English was subpar and they couldn’t assist effectively.
Out of sheer necessity, I tracked down the owner through public records, and they immediately responded with the correct Wi-Fi information. This entire ordeal could have been avoided if Vacasa had provided accurate details in the first place or addressed our concerns promptly. Their poor management not only left us stressed but also reflects poorly on an otherwise great property. As a VRBO owner myself, I know how important it is to respond quickly and ensure everything is in top condition.
