Nice Apartment
We stayed here for 4 nights and we had mixed reviews. Overall, the apartment was very comfortable with updated appliances, the check in process was simple and had no issues upon our arrival. We were aware that the apartment location was not in the city center, which was completely fine. The distance to the nearest Metro station was about a 20 min walk. However, the biggest issue we had was the on going construction work being completed in the adjacent building(s). Construction work began as early as 7am and construction noise was a problem. There was work noise even on a Saturday when we wanted to sleep in and rest. This was a big issue for some of us, as a few in our group were light sleepers. Additionally, during our stay it rained several days with temperatures in the mid 40’s to low 50’s degrees F… so it was quite cold. There was no way to adjust the temperature in the apartment. After trying to adjust the radiators ourselves we finally reached out to the property manager. Unfortunately there was no solution to the internal temperature of the apartment, so several of us wore jackets or sweaters inside the apartment during our stay. There were no extra blankets in the apartment so we had to request more blankets from property manager, which were delivered.
Overall, we did not dwell on the negative. With the exception of the construction noise and the internal apartment temperature, we enjoyed our stay but it’s something to keep in mind when booking this location.
