Disappointing

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The condo would be suitable for 4-5 bodies, not 10 as advertised. The housekeeping was very poor. Disorganized, piles of random items swept behind furniture. The extra bedding was piled in the 'master' closet (on the dusty floor, no shelves). Generally unkept and messy. The pullout sofa had mouse droppings on it and we're still not 100% sure the bedding we did use was cleaned before our arrival. The kitchen is a joke. The oven didn't work (we were alerted to this the day prior to our trip and promised a toaster oven - as if that's the same - that was not present upon our arrival) as there was no power to the unit. This also meant no exhaust fan (code violation) during our stay and use of the cooktop. Aside from a stack of random plates there are very few dishes, no paper towels and only two kitchen towels (rags). The pots/pans are in various states of disrepair (some with no handles). We had to find plates, paper towels and toilet paper ourselves. If you're a group of 10 fraternity guys headed to the lake/peak to get hammer-timed for the weekend, this place would be fine to go unconscious in, but if you're a family or any self-respecting quasi-adult looking for professional, clean accommodations you should find somewhere else. You've been warned.

Not 3 bedroom

The supposed to be bedroom upstairs it’s more like a closet with bed in it. To get up there you have to climb stairs that are really inclined kind of dangerous. Some deep cleaning needs to be done, living room sofas are dirty and have some smell.TV is always loading not strong signal.Besides that, is really cozy and lovely place.

No 3rd Bedroom

You cannot call a room with a door that won’t shut and a dangerously vertical ladder to access it a 3rd bedroom at a property. Incredibly misleading. We were traveling with children and this was very unsafe. Spiders on my 4yo bed. No key card for hot tub and no response from property over 3 day stay. Beds are incredibly hard and uncomfortable. No mattress protectors. The list goes on. Very disappointing.

Good neighborhood

The property was in a nice location with lots of trees. We did not know that there was a hill to go up before the stairs from the car, so getting in and out for our older family members was difficult. The third bedroom was also in the loft, and was accessed only by a ladder, which was also not something we knew ahead of time. These 2 unknowns may have changed our minds about booking this property since we had older adults in our party.

Not worth the money

There was soiled bedding, no A/C, numerous amounts of spiders in the house. Way to small for more than 4-5 people. Loft upstairs has a ladder of death, watch your head as you walk up very steep and the beam is super close to the ladder. Upstairs loft area extremely warm, again no A/C. TV does not work with the internet. Beds were like a slab of cement

Cozy Spot

We loved this spot and enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is that we couldn’t use the pool because the key card was not left in the home as described.

A great place for a family of four

For a family of four, it was a great rental. The listing states that it sleeps 10 but I would not recommend housing 10 in this rental. Would have enjoyed more kitchen supplies like plates, cups, etc (we had to go out for salt and pepper) however we were left plenty of towels and it was otherwise comfortable.

Definitely stay again❤️

I loved the house decor. The stainless steel Kenmore appliances are a plus and the view from the deck is just beautiful. We always come to shaver lake and normally rent cabins, but this condo was very nice. It's dog friendly which is the main reason we decided to book the condo, so we could bring our two small fur babies with us. Not only did we enjoy shaver lake, but also enjoyed the community pool located in the condominiums as well. Definitely will reserve again.

Perfect location

The cabin is really updated, clean and cozy. Accommodated my family of 9 really well. Love all the deck space. Lovely gated community and we enjoyed winding down in the hot tub and sauna. Enjoyed going to China peak on sat and mon and it’s only a 25 min drive from this cabin. Less than 5 min to the town of shaver. The younger kids loved sledding on the hill above the large deck. Nice seating to enjoy streaming a movie on the smart TV. Kids loved the loft area. Nice KitchenAid grill to bbq chicken and corn. The appliances are all KitchenAid and really nice. Plenty of accessories in the kitchen to eat in. Really enjoyed our time in this cabin. Fair price for what you get.

Would Stay Again

My family was happy with this condo. The WiFi worked great and there is a smart TV. Plenty of seating. It was definitely clean. I spilled water all over the kitchen floor and when I cleaned it up, the towels were not nasty dirty. The refrigerator and stove were clean. I cooked everyday for the week we were there. I was able to get by with the kitchen supplies / gadgets available, but you definitely need to bring all of your own dry seasoning, sugar for coffee, etc., and storage containers if you plan to cook and keep leftovers. I also brought a few of my own gadgets (whisk, large knife, large liquid measuring/ mixing bowl, etc.), plastic bags, paper plates and bowls, etc., which was a good thing. I asked for a regular coffee pot (there was a k-cup machine) and extra paper towels and they delivered. The location was a bit out of the way but we didn’t find this to be an issue. The drive to town was super quick and it was about 15min to the marina where we rented a slip for our boat. Also a lot of great hiking in the area. Only negative was that the condo did not have air conditioning, and the loft area was hot. Thankfully, there were a few portable fans in the house so we moved them around as needed.
