Gentle, rolling farmland alternates with bustling commercial towns with a rich commercial and cultural life. Take the kids to Djurs Sommerland for a day and visit Horsens and the surrounding area. Who knows if you'll be lucky enough to meet a real knight or even Santa Claus when Horsens hosts Medieval Festival or Christmas Market.
