This home away from home has 400 lf of waterfront access to Canyon Lake with spectacular views of the lake and hill country as far as the eye can see. Take full advantage of our 20 x 20 gazebo near the water with lighting, picnic tables and ceiling fan; private pool with water fall and 10 person hot tub; volleyball court next to the lake; 4 large decks; gated front yard for security; 2 upgraded 65" smart TV's W/satellite tv; access to the gazebo from the boat ramp with boat/jetski parking via automatic gate in rear of property. Great fishing on property. But just in case you want to leave, there is shopping, antiquing, boating, tubing, skiing, golf on south side of lake, boat ramps, parks, hiking, biking, fly fishing, music, night life, and restaurants nearby.

Great location- from Michigan

My husband and I stayed here for a month. We had kids and grandkids come down to visit us and see Texas. We loved the area and neighborhood. The pool was a hit for the kids and rented a boat one of the days. We hope to be back we loved it!

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay! The property was super clean, the instructions provided for check in were flawless, and the pool was very enjoyable. The managers were very responsive when we had questions. We definitely will stay again!

The Best backyard to make Canyon Lake memories in!

Don't do it. All negative reviews are accurate.

So many issues. The worst part was the jacuzzi malfunctioning. The second worst was the false advertising of the online pictures. Today-March 2025, Canyon Lake is 50% full, online pictures are probably from 2022.1. jacuzzi - malfunctioning, the day lost when not working, after fix it didn't seem like it was cleaning and we had to follow specific instructions to get the heat working properly2. false depiction of scenic views and activities - online photos showed lake from past, volleyball net gone, path to lake unkept - we brought a volleyball3. front gate broke as soon as we entered property4. advertised dvd player - then later said there was not one - we brought dvds for movie night5. advertised stereo system - no instruction on how to use and probably not working6. kitchen trash can disgusting with roaches 7. two bbq pits - both not working, one because no propane tank, the other dirty8. pool/spa panel and spa instructions on fridge - obsolete. we found out when pool attendant came to help.9. tv remote no batteries10. difficulties with both tvs11. multiple light bulbs out12. no extra toilet paper13. no cleaning supplies - spray cleaner for kitchen or bathrooms, not even a broom14. asking guests to bring towels tacky15. windows not cleaned - beautiful lake view with dirty windows16. heating pool - i was willing to incur costs but pool attendant was not sure if there was enough propane to heat the pool17. cleanliness was subpar

Great Place!!! A must Visit!

Brought the entire family for a birthday weekend. The hosts were great to work with, quick to answer our questions. The place was perfect, access fishing, pool, outdoor dining. Will definitely come back!

Fantastic Home

This property far exceeded our expectations! The house is stocked with everything you need. The location is amazing the pool absolutely beautiful! The deck is a dream for family gatherings!

Everything was exactly like the add. Lake was low but not on the owner! Just make sure to bring your own towels/rags for bathing and water activities none are included.

Family Vacay

The best thing about this home is the view and the massive deck. Home was surfacely clean but oven needs a deep clean and home needs extermination. Some maintenance items need attention which I sent to the property manager. Pool is an added bonus for the property but started turning green and needed chemicals and cleaned. Pool company showed up last day to service. Unfortunately, the lake was low so no water activities and we drove to the Blanco River daily which is 40 minutes away. Overall, quiet area, gorgeous views, easy to get to, close to convenient stores, gas and grocery. Gruene and Wimberley day trips are about 40 minutes.

Great Property on the lake

Property was clean, other than pool and a few items left from previous renters. Could use some maintenance and updates. But the views, location, and overall experience of the property make us want to come back and stay again.

Concert Trip

Everything was great.. the lake in this area is low and deep so no lake swimming for my group. Also the bottom part is shared with three other houses but no problems.

Cleaning

House was nice but it needed to be clean better we had to wash all sheets to the bed they had a funny smell and the house smell also . We open the windows to air it out. Over all we enjoy the house we all slept comfortable there was more than enough room for everyone! Would rent it again !!

Sadly could be SO MUCH more

Loose toilet seats everywhere, rocks falling into the pool, rocks falling into the hot tub, loose railing outside (on loose stairs), lip stick on clean glasses, grout in master looks gray in areas but black in others (maybe mold), grass NOT mowed (ankle high), burnt out lights in master bathroom, spare bedroom bed rolls to the middle (maybe broke), no rods to hang ANY towels on that we needed to bring, unable to use volley ball area weeds we knee high, unable to use sitting area by the lake as weeds were also way to tall, no smoking allowed yet ash trays found although out the property, no share on the pool or hot tub yet areas that appear hold an umbrella...this could be so much more but needs some TLC....not kids friendly at all so my grands were kinda bored....

I was disappointed with our stay

For what we paid I would have expected the pool and hot tub to be in working order. Both were dirty and very cloudy. The hot tub was not warm eventhough it said 85 degrees and you couldn't adjust the temp. The outside toilet was clogged. Also the refrigerator kept leaking water from the freezer on the floor.

Beautiful View but House Needs Love

The house is in a wonderful spot with amazing views. You can clearly see the lake from the decks and the pool. Deer are common around the property and are relaxing to watch. The house is large and spacious with several places to relax and hang out. The house could have been cleaner. When we arrived there were cigarette butts on the kitchen floor under the table. Several different locations had an accumulation of dust. The hot tub does not appear to be working correctly. We notified the property manager and they sent the pool service company out the very next day. He assured me the hot tub was working and even explained how to turn it on. However, the hot tub never would heat up. Definitely not to the 102 degrees he suggested. The house has a shortage of towels. Both bath towels and hand towels. I don't think there is a single hand towel in any of the bathrooms to dry your hands with. We bought towels at the local Walmart. Highly recommend bringing your own towels. The kitchen cookware is old and full of mold. No joke, the blender was full of mold. Most of the cookware we looked at wasn't actually clean and most were damaged. We did go and purchase a pan to cook with just to make life easier. The dishes and glasses all seem fine but the cookware itself has passed its shelf life. The pantry, master closet, and den closet are all owner's closets. Having the pantry for the guests would be amazing. The amount of storage space in the kitchen without it is minimal.

NOT WHAT IT PROMOTES

My family and I take a trip to the hill country every year. The reason we chose this house this year was for the pool,volleyball court, & lake access. We didn’t get to use ANY of it! Very Very disappointed. Property manager sent an email stating that they had just walked the property to assure the house was ready. That was a complete lie! If they did, they would’ve seen the pool was stand still cloudy with debris, no filter on, the hot tub had a trash bag of idk what in it, panel for pool/hot tub did not work. There is access to the lake but not to float or swim. The volleyball court has overgrown grass and cactus! I understand it’s not their property but if the property isn’t what you are promoting, it’s a scam! when I called her to let her know about the pool she would make it seem like she had a issue with something about us. We are pool owners we know what the water should look like. I truly wish I could post pictures and screenshots of my conversations with Jennifer. There isn’t enough room on here to go into details. At one point she even asked me to add water to the hot tub that we hadn’t even used!!! After she had claimed the pool company had visited the property twice! This lady is a joke! Bring your own toiletries and trash bags. It stated on here they provide it. They provided one roll for each bathroom, no trash bags, no paper towels. I would never recommend anyone to stay here because of the way Jennifer handled the main issue, the pool not being ready to use.
