Southern Comfort 1501 is as homey and inviting as its name indicates. This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo can accommodate up to four guests. Nestled in the quiet, wooded resort of Golf View, you’ll feel secluded even though you’re never far from the action of Pigeon Forge. The Golf View resort is next door to the Gatlinburg Golf Course and boasts an indoor and outdoor seasonal pool, an outdoor seasonal hot tub, a sauna and grilling areas.

The living room and a lovely gas corner fireplace. A 65-inch TV rests above it with cable and a DVD player. There’s plenty of space for your group to settle in to watch a movie or ballgame together. French doors lead out to your private balcony where you’ll find two chairs and a table. Just sit back and relax as you breathe in the clear mountain air. Your Southern Comfort 1501 kitchen features stainless steel appliances, and a full complement of serving ware, cookware and utensils. Of course, with all the tasty cuisine in Pigeon Forge, you may not want to cook at all. The round dining table is great for dining in or a board game.

After a full day of enjoying the area, you’ll settle into your adjustable king-size bed and watch a little late-night TV on your 50-inch bedroom TV or perhaps share a bath with your special someone in the jetted tub. Guests traveling with you can make their bed on the comfortable queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room. The Southern Comfort 1501 bathroom features a shower/tub combination and vanity with plenty of storage. For your convenience, you also have a washer and dryer on-site at Southern Comfort 1501.

The condo was a great location to all fun things going on in the area, and nearby areas. Everything you need was avaivable in the condo. Great pizza place across the street in walking distance, I recommend trying. We recommend this place to others to stay. at

My great Pigeon Forge getaway

The whole experience renting this property was great from start to finish. The check-in process was excellent. The property was clean and had everything that we needed. It was more than we had expected. The property manager kept in touch with us throughout our stay. We did not have any problems or concerns. I think these would have been answered in advance if we had. The whole short stay was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Fireplace did not work properly upon arrival, elevator did not work for 24 hours and the entire building was evacuated at 2 am for an unknown reason.

So whoever owns the condo itself is amazing I wish I knew who they were because I would tell them to relocate there business, but whoever owns the property and books the rental are horrible. It was a pretty bad experience trying to get there, find parking, and you could not get ahold of anybody at all for help. They said if you have any issues call this number, but when you did no answer or there was no follow up to a problem, also there is absolutely nobody on the grounds that can help at all except for the cleaners.and the person that tried to help couldn’t bc he couldn’t get ahold of anyone eather.

Perfect get away

Property was perfect for what we needed for our stay as a family of 4. Unit is a corner unit and was very quiet, you can walk to the other end and see the fireworks from Dollywood. Mountain view were beautiful and so was the sunset. Condo is so close to Dollywood & several other attractions. However, it is very quiet and peaceful. Few things, bed was very soft. If you need a firm bed, you would not enjoy the king bed in the bedroom. Almost all plates and cups were glass, not ideal for children. There was a cable listening for TV channels but we could never find the app that went too (was not a huge deal for us). There is no management office at this location. Pool is open to whomever, we heard a few times people say they were locals and just came there to swim. Overall we would stay at this location again.

Good place for a couple night.

The place was clean. And the king size bed is comfortable. I have no idea how to tell the condo owners that the closet door completely fell off the track when my 71 year old mother went to open it. The toilet started leaking at the base. It was getting worse yesterday. I left a towel on the floor to keep it moped up. And there are ants in the bathroom. The dresser drawers were packed with unnecessary bedding. There was no place to unpack our cloths. We used the jacuzzi tub to store our stuff or the hallway between the bedroom and the living room. The kitchen cupboards were all overloaded with too much stuff or locked. There was no place for us to put and organize our stuff. To be southern comfort you should make sure there are some spaces for your guests to put their stuff.

Family Vacation

The property was exactly as described. It was updated much more than I expected after reading some of the reviews(adjustable bed, 2 large TVs, bidet toilet with heated seat). There were a few minor things I noticed that could have been issues for others. The dining table was set with decorative plates while they were cute, they were chipped and 2 were had old food on them(I washed them and we did NOT use them). I killed 3 wasps within minutes of entering and there was a dead yellow jacket on the floor in the dining area. The property supplied dishwasher detergent and a tiny bottle of dish washing detergent but it was not enough for the length of my stay so I had to go purchase more. We couldn't enjoy the balcony due to the people in the condo next door, they were very loud and intoxicated and smoking cigarettes and more! Also the parking was a pain, one night we had to park in the bottom lot which was difficult for the handicapped member of my party. Now with all that being said...I would ABSOLUTELY book a stay here again! The location was convenient for travel to everything. The check in and check out process was absolutely a dream! The kitchen was big and gave us plenty of room to cook as a family.

You enter the foyer and there is a nice table, perfect for putting purse or keys on...but it has a huge faux floral arrangement rendering it unusable.The bed was comfy (a king) but the bedroom is tiny so there is little room for luggage. A queen bed would have been fine and allowed more floor space. There is a huge upright stuffed bear taking up space in one corner...why???The bathroom was fine but small. There is no counter space but there was a nice utility shelf above toilet was filled with jars of the owners bath beads, cotton balls and q-tips. So nowhere to put our stuff. And under the bathroom sink...there was a gallon can of paint taking up most of the space.Everything worked in the kitchen, appliances were functional. Large fridge, dishwasher great. There were no baking pans. There was one rusted perforated pizza pan but nothing to bake french fries or chicken on. The cabinets were stuffed with mix and match plates. There were 23 dinner plates and they were so piled in there it was difficult to extract one! Why would a one bedroom condo need that much clutter?The kitchen counter had huge glass jars of the owners pasta, beans etc in jars cluttering up the little workspace available. And a bear figurine holding an old empty wine bottle next to it and then a raised glass cake plate...Too much junk on every surface. A spice rack is a nice touch but it looked to be really old...all the spices had weathered to a dull grey. Usually that happens after about 5 years. I did not use any of them.The side table against wall in living room has more clutter with fake floral display pieces. All the negatives could be fixed in about one hour by the owners which would make the rental experience much better.

Perfect location, close to everything, but not too close. Extremely comfortable bed with adjustable base was a nice surprise. Also worth noting was the loud a/c unit. Honestly was a blessing for us, as we are used to having white noise (we forgot our machine), but some may not like it. Had no issues with parking or noisy neighbors. The unit is on the top floor, so an elevator is necessary to get to the top, slightly narrow outer walkway, for those that have issues with heights it might be hard to walk to the end without getting a little woozy. :) Again, everything was perfect for our anniversary getaway, will definitely return again.

Our condo was nice and cozy but one of the things we didn’t like was the life size bear in the bed room. Kinda makes you feel as if someone was watching you. It was also hard to keep warm in the bedroom. Other than that it was a very nice and cozy condo.
