Please note that roof, concrete, and retaining wall repairs will be taking place across the Whispering Pines complex. The estimated construction period is from mid-April 2025 to mid-May 2025. We appreciate your understanding.

When you stay at Rock-a-While Whispering Pines 214, you're just minutes away from all the fun of the Smokies! This spacious and luxurious three-bedroom, two-bathroom first-floor condo accommodates eight guests. Rock-a-While Whispering Pines 214 combines comfort with elegance for a unique vacation experience. The Whispering Pines resort boasts an indoor and outdoor pool with hot tubs, a lazy river, a fitness center, and a picnic area!

After a day of hiking, put on the gas fireplace and curl up in one of the living room's cozy recliners to enjoy a DVD on the large cable TV, or relax on the leather sleeper sofa, perfect for when you have guests. Don’t forget to post amazing photos to your social media pages courtesy of the free Wi-Fi. The gorgeous gourmet kitchen features tile floors, all the major appliances and is fully equipped with all the gadgets, cookware and dinnerware you'll need to prepare a feast for your group. After dinner, take a glass of wine out to the balcony to enjoy the serene view from one of the many patio seats.

Rock-a-While Whispering Pines 214's three beautifully decorated bedrooms all are furnished with sumptuous king-size beds, in-room flat-screen TVs with DVD players, ceiling fans, nightstands with reading lamps and lots of little homelike touches. The primary bedroom features an en-suite bathroom complete with jetted soaking tub, while the second and third bedrooms are just steps away from the full-size hallway bathroom. Both bathrooms are stocked with plenty of fresh, fluffy towels, and all bedding is provided. There's even a washer and dryer so you can pack light!

The Whispering Pines resort boasts all the amenities you could wish for: two spectacular pools, a lazy river, a covered picnic pavilion with grills, multiple hot tubs, a fitness center and so much more. When you’re ready to venture out you’ll find yourself quite close to the Gatlinburg area’s award-winning dining and many family-friendly activities. The carpet was VERY dirty. Condo looked worn as well. Water was in the master bedroom tub- not sure why. For the amount we paid it should have been nicer. Location was good. Also never received check in instructions until the day of. I had emailed several times and they indicated 72-24 hours before. It was only several hours before. You also had to get an actual key, no code. Wouldn't stay again.

The location is just perfect for fun around PF and Gatlinburg and the staff is exceptional! Some of the units are dated and could use some TLC, but overall we didn't sign up or pay for a 5 star, but it sure comes close! We don't plan on staying anywhere else going forward - accommodations are spacious and the pools are a great plus for the grandkids...I can't say enough about the exceptional management team! They always bend over backwards to help us get the most out of our visit and that is greatly appreciated. I've never submitted a review before but feel I owe it to WP after so many great times; it seems to be the best-kept secret in town!

Reviewer Comments: We stayed in room 214,,,,, and in all our years of staying at whispering pines , we never had complaints until NOW..... the room smelled terrible and the carpet was very dirty and the tile on the floors had a film ,like poor cleaning film and the patio door was so hard to push open it almost came out every time.....and the patio door blinds opener always fell off if you touched many NEEDED repairs...the couch needed cleaning etc

One of the main reasons we come back multiple times a year is due to the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. I do feel however, that in recent years, the support has been a little disappointing. We cannot check in until 4 pm (we pay for this day) it is not fair that we cannot check in until 4. I understand cleaning needs to take place but one way to accommodate us would be to allow us a late check-out. All we needed was an hour and you would not allow it. Very disappointing.

I miss understood that we had to be out by Wednesday at 11. I went in to tell the front desk that we would leave on that day ( thinking we had it still). The one girl was so nice but the other girl proceeded to pull the paper we signed for check out And when I tried to tell them that I thought that we thought we had all that day. She wouldn’t let me try to explain it was a misunderstanding and I felt bad about not being out. She kept pointing at my husband’s signature. I felt like she was speaking down to me. When I told her she didn’t have to make me feel stupid, she said no one was talking down to me. Well the other girl wasn’t she was. My brother visited us at the condo and was planning on his next vacation there. I haven’t told him about the check out yet.
