Welcome to the spacious cottage, with its bedrooms and bathrooms, there is room for the whole family or for two families traveling together. The room with bunk beds will go down well with the youngest vacationers. Their natural gathering place is the swimming pool and hot tub, where young and old can enjoy themselves all day long. The clerestory windows in the living room provide lovely natural light that you can enjoy while cooking, eating, playing games or reading a good book. The terrace makes it easy for you to spend many enjoyable hours outdoors. Relax in the deck chair or enjoy your breakfast here while you plan the day's activities and excursions. The house is situated on a large plot of land where you can let nature take its course. The garden is rich in birds and deer that often visit the garden.



Odsherred is one of the most beautiful vacation areas in Denmark. The nature area Klintebakkerne is about 20 minutes walk from the house. Experience the stone pillars there. The ice age landscape in Odsherred is unique ? and crucial for the Odsherred of today. That is why Odsherred is a Geopark. Take a trip on the barrow road and experience the Ice Age landscape, the Stone Age barrows and the Bronze Age barrows, the souls in Ulkerup, Hempel Glass Museum, Odsherred Museum which has a copy of the sun chariot found in Trundholm Mose swamp, the pocket stone ? the work of a troll or a geological wonder? The castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. The nature school with its many activities from hunting for sea delicacies, expeditions in the forest, butterfly safari to troll and fox excursion. The children will love to see the many fire engines at the Odsherred Fire Museum, or you can go on a seal safari from the harbor in Rørvig. Head to Sommerland Seeland for a boat ride, visit the 13th-century Dragsholm Castle, where the white ghost is said to peddle, or head to Odsherred's many art galleries. In addition, Odsherred offers several golf courses, cozy harbor ambiences and unique nature. The area is good for fishing sea trout and flounder on the coast from your own beach. In Højby, only about five km from the cottage, is a golf course with 18 holes. In the area you will also find a put-and-take fishing lake, many galleries, artisans and the 13th century Dragsholm Castle, where the white ghost is said to peddle. The town of Nykøbing Zealand is about four km away, with many stores, several supermarkets and a cozy pedestrian street with specialty stores and cafes. Here you will also find the large amusement park Sommerland Seeland with, among other things, the largest adventure pool in Zealand and a lot of other activities for the whole family. The resort of Rørvig, with a ferry connection to Hundested (50 km to Copenhagen), has an idyllic town center and a harbor with a fish smokehouse.
