Nestled in the heart of Savannah's beautiful Historic District, this two-level cottage style home is the perfect getaway for up to four guests. Guests enter independently through the lane, where they will find private access to their abode.

Use your secure, keyless entry code to access the carriage house, entering into the charming living space with original exposed brick, hand-laid tile floors, and large windows that flood the space with natural light. Two additional guests can transform the living space into a bedroom with a Queen sofa sleeper. Off the living room you'll find the bright and sunny kitchen, fully-equipped with every cooking essential, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops! Additionally on the first floor, you'll find a powder room tucked away off of the living room.

Upstairs, the both bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, one Queen and one King, plus a generous amount of storage space - ideal for extended stays. The full bath with tub/shower combo and double vanity is off of the hall, making it convenient for all! Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the large courtyard separating the carriage from the main house. A washer and dryer are also available adjacent to the main home.

Nearby attractions include The Sorrel-Weed House, Green-Meldrim House, Mercer Williams House Museum, and the Fountain at Forsyth Park. Head North just a short walk towards the National Landmark Historic District center, with Broughton Street being the go-to for shopping and dining. Both City Market and River Street are a 15-minute walk from this home.

Home wasn't quite as described

I should have read the property description better but this rental is essentially in an alley. If you arrive after dark the alleyway can be very intimidating as it's filled with trash cans, dumpsters, bags of garbage and is poorly lit. There is NO parking with this unit so be prepared to walk quite a ways to find a spot for your vehicle. Also, the washer & dryer are NOT in the rental, but are in a dark, poorly lit out building shared by countless other renters. The unit is also advertised as 2 baths, but really it's just 1 full bath and a toilet on the main floor. Even though the unit isn't on a Main Street, and there's no vehicles driving in front of the rental, you can hear the road noise very clearly from the bedrooms. If you're a light sleeper you will want to bring ear plugs or run a fan all night as the noise from other streets is very clear in the bedroom. The unit was clean, the master bedroom was spacious, and the kitchen well organized.

SCAD Student Drop Off

It was perfect place for us! Location was great! So many shops, pretty close to the Hive and Turner House. Very quiet and pretty neighborhood. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay here again when we come to visit our daughter! Too bad it rained most of the time.

Original house had mold and was not livable. Took two days before they moved us, and then would not give us a refund (even a partial refund) for any of the nights, because they said they moved us to an "upgrade". Terrible customer service.

Such A Quaint Space!

The apartment was so nice! Usually, my husband plans all of our trips so I spent a lot of time trying to pick out the perfect place to stay and we all loved it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at 103W Charlton Street. Apt was clean and cozy and walk-able to restaurants and activities. The neighbourhood is quiet with no loud noises at night. We took advantage of the outdoor space and had breakfast outside twice.....we had to eat before 10am as the sun hits the table by 10am and it was not so comfortable after that. (If Lucky Savannah is reading this, maybe consider providing an outdoor umbrella so the outdoor space can be enjoyed throughout the day). We also used the laundry a few times while we were there and it was very convenient. Great stay. I would recommend.

Worst rental experience we have ever had

My poor rating of this property is due to the physical reaction I experienced while staying at the property in February. My reaction to the odor/smell in the property included headaches and sinus-chest congestion. We paid for and planned to stay for the entire month of February 2024 but my physical reaction was so concerning we felt we needed to leave and ended our stay two weeks ahead of our scheduled departure date. We departed early rather than remain in the property. No refund or alternative property were provided by the management company. Both were requested. All of this was reported to the property management company (Lucky Savannah) throughout our stay, starting the day we checked in.

Great Place to stay !

The location was great. The place was also very quiet and being two women we felt safe in this area. Close to Trolley and DOT stops, also close to Mrs. Wilkes for lunch, and several other places people like to visit while here.

Lovely place. Couple issues

There was no private parking. Therefore had to find somewhere to leave car overnight. The main floor didn't have heat other than 2 registers. Thermostat was on 2nd floor.

Great location but lots of noise

This apartment is in an old building with a lot of charm. The entrance is off of an alley way, which can feel a bit unsafe at night if you're not used to it. But the location was wonderful for shopping, coffee shops, and diners. Be aware that there is a TON of noise at night. We have lots trucks or motorcycles wake us up multiple times, even with a sound machine in use. Pros and cons, but for the price, we probably wouldn't stay here again.

Parking on the street was easy to attain, but you do need to track your meter and pay online. Very comfortable for four adults. We had our two adult sons, one did use the pull-out sofa and there were no complaints on that!(comfortable). Having the extra powder room on the main floor was handy. The courtyard was nice place to unwind at the end of the day. Easy to locate with the informaton provided. highly recommend staying here!

The property was cute with lots of brick. Street parking was close by at a reasonable cost through the parking app. Door was on an alley with garbage cans across the alley that smelled. Shower faucet leaked. Notified management company at the end of our short stay and the replied that someone was going to look into it. Coffee provided was good but only left one filter for two mornings. All the other supplies were plentiful for our stay. The property was a good size for two couples.

Great location

The location of this property is amazing, within walking distance of restaurants and many other places. Because is in the Historic District you have to pay for additional parking (on the street). The house is so cute and good for 4 people. My only complaint is the shower faucet was dripping and the shower liner had mold. I contact the manager, they didn't do anything.

While the sheets were crisp and nice, the sheet on the king bed wasn’t big/wide enough...it popped off in the night. Very annoying...exposing the plastic mattress cover. This was also not comfortable as it didn’t breathe; making us sweaty in the night. The shower was in ill repair, detached from the wall and dripped constantly. It had been taped in an attempt to repair. Our house mate found the queen bed to be too soft but that may be personal preference. The garbage receptacle in the main bath was worn out and the foot lift did not work forcing us to physically lift the lid. An open garbage would be a fine replacement. The teapot was rusty inside and needs replacing. I drink tea every eve. Otherwise a nice stay. Air conditioning, fans worked well. New nice frig. Water provided upon arrival would be a nice addition!!
