Cozy and comfortable apartment for 3 women to enjoy a long weekend in Cape May! The location is amazing for walking to a ton of great restaurants, shopping and the beach. Looking forward to our next stay!
The apartment is nice, espeically since in cape may a lot of the apartments havent had updates in a long time. The apartment is tight, we were only 3 for the stay so it was fine but i do think it would be tight with more people. I do think for staying after labor day if way pretty expensive but I dont know how much its compares.
We came down to Cape May for 12 years and usually rented 1-2 weeks for summer vacations with the kids. Now that everyone is 20+ years old- that type of time is just impossible to get on the books so we decided to look for a place that rented for a long weekend. The owners were very responsive and the apartment is cute and very clean. If there is any way to add a small extra chair in the living room (maybe get rid of the blue table and put something small ) it would add to the comfort level. The Kitchen is well stocked and the island is great for game night and snacks. I am not a huge fan of window air conditioners but these worked well and weren't too noisy. The Location is fantastic and street parking was not an issue. We loved hanging out on the front porch at night talking.
We all enjoyed our recent stay at this property. It is the perfect location. We were able to walk to the beach, mini-golf, the beach and shopping. The kids loved the bunk beds and the beds were comfortable. It is always nice to have a kitchen to save money on meals. It was nicely stocked. The outdoor shower is probably our favorite feature of the property, so take advantage if you decide to stay!
The unit that we rented was impeccably clean and well stocked with all of the essentials of home. No kidding....we really felt at home here. The beds were very comfortable (always a concern at any rental unit). We spent a lot of time chilling out on the very inviting front porch, all within eyesight of the ocean and just a short walk (comparatively speaking) to the mall area. I highly recommend this property!
Apartment was cute and close to the beach. We had two teenagers with us so appreciated two bathrooms and kid bedrooms on the other side of the unit. Would definitely rent again.
Overall property was great.
One suggestion is that more seat is needed in living room area and mention should be made to bring your beach gear, i.e. towels and chairs.
This property was at a key location in Cape May. It was centrally located to many wonderful restaurants and shopping areas . Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had
Location is ideal- walk to everything and so close to the beach.
Apartment clean and quaint with nice updates in bathrooms. Beautiful porch for relaxing day and evening.
Counter space a bit tight, but manageable .
It’s a lovely apartment, in a superb location, but there’s no outdoor space at all, no place to hang sandy towels and stash beach chairs. This means tracking sand into the apartment. Worse, there’s no way to sweep or vacuum. When I asked owner if there was a broom somewhere, I was told that they want to ensure that “guests do not have to clean.” That’s a tortured way of saying they are fine with people walking on filthy floors covered with sand and crumbs from meals — gross and uncomfortable. Moreover, on check in we found sand and a used qtip on bathroom floor. Families should know that the kitchen is too small to do real cooking. It’s a shame — a very cool place only a block from the beach. Cape May itself is lovely, but the inability to tidy this place up is a major minus.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Lovely property, close to beach, some issues.
PROS
-Very very close to the beach
-Lovely, well-maintained property
-Beautiful front porch
-Bed linens and bath towels provided
-Clean and modern
CONS
-When I booked, listing showed a king bed, which was one of the reasons I booked so far from town. During the off season they replaced the king with a queen and did not inform guests. I was offered no compensation.
-VERY small - no closets or dressers. Had to hang full-length clothes on a set of overdoor hooks on the front door. ZERO kitchen storage space - literally. Kept everything on the island or on top of the refrigerator.
-Not enough cups and dishes for the amount of people the place is supposed to sleep.
-Was given the wrong door code and could not get in touch with either manager for ten minutes. When I was finally called back, manager was not apologetic.
-Patio for second floor apartment is directly under the master window so we were woken by screaming toddlers at 7am each day.
-Washer/dryer is a combo unit and dries everything on high heat, and there is no clothesline anywhere. I had to hang out clothes in creative places all over the house.
-Needs way more hooks for a place with no closets.
I wish I could give 3.5 stars because it’s better than average but was not a good fit for us. I think it would be a great place for a group of adults who don’t plan to spend a lot of time in the unit and don’t need much space for clothes and food.
We had a great stay. The location is ideal for walking to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Alicia and Donna are great hosts and the property was clean and well kept. Would highly recommend!
This place almost checked all the boxes.
Pros
So close to beach it was incredible
Clean upon arrival
Near stores and shops
Nice porch
Good a/c units and fans in windows
Large windows
Cons
It was small
Closets were peer standing open racks
Some things were not reliable - towel rack fell off
Rocker on porch was broken
Bird made next on porch light - some poop
Outdoor shower wasn’t enclosed.
Bed frame too big.
The Victorian house was lovely. The apartment was just the right size for my family. It was neat, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. You can't beat the location- so close to the beach, promenade, and restaurants. Thank you for a great experience!
Beautiful house in Cape May, lovely location. Great time :)
A few things, we wish the living room area had a bit more seating. After a long day sightseeing, we really had no where to sit and chill out. The couch was small, and the little red plastic cubes we found uncomfortable. The metal chairs around the kitchen island were very uncomfortable. Should have some seat cushions at least. A small tv in each bedroom would also be nice. I like to watch the morning news while getting ready. The battery on the thermostat said 'low battery', leaving us unable to adjust the heat, and the nights were in the upper 40's. There was no vanity counters in the bathrooms to lay out our makeup, personal items, etc. Maybe a small vanity table in each bathroom would be beneficial. The main bedroom had 3 mirrors, 2 full length mirrors and one mirror off center above the bed, while the 2 extra bedrooms had no mirrors. The windows in the kitchen had no curtains, leaving us feeling exposed to the house next door, no privacy. A half curtain at least would give some privacy from the close set neighbor. These are just some things my sister and niece said would have been beneficial to us, and possibly to future guests. So, a very good review and stay at the house, just giving some suggestions for a few things that future guests may benefit from. Thank you :)

We (Donna and Alicia) have been business associates and friends since 2002. We had been talking about purchasing a beach house for several years. We found the perfect one in 2021. Alicia has been coming to Cape May for over 25 years on family vacations. We want to continue that tradition for our families and yours.
Why they chose this property
The proximity to the beach and center of town was a big plus. The historical presence of this house had much influence. We like to take homes in need of love and turn them around.
