Loved being on the lake, surrounded by nature. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed slept well. The shower was amazing. Next time we will bring kayaks!

The property is waterfront on the Tennessee River. Deer and rabbits make their home on this 6 acre lot. We enjoyed boating, swimming, and watching the wildlife during our stay. The FireTV had plenty of cartoons and movies for my 2 year old at bedtime. The open patio provided plenty of area to relax and watch my son play. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and clean. The half bath was perfect for visitors to change clothes for swimming or simply use the restroom during their visit. The only downside was having to walk out on the patio to get to the half bath or kitchen areas from the resting/bedroom area, but that wasn't so bad as it kept the bedroom area private.

Perfect for me
This property was exactly what I was looking for. However it might not suit everyone. It was very clean and recently updated. It is very rural, sits on a large grassed empty lot on the water with a nice dock. There is no washer/dryer, the kitchen is in a separate room but is very well done and stocked, it has an additional separate bathroom in addition to the one bedroom area. The bedroom is small with no hanging closet and a very small dresser. The bathroom is well laid out with a huge shower. The bed was not to my liking. It is a pull out with a foam top that I found super uncomfortable. I felt like I was sleeping on a pile of bread dough. My biggest complaint we’re the cameras. I’ve stayed a multiple rentals and never encountered these before. I never truly felt comfortable or relaxed thinking I was always being watched. I never saw this explained or listed on the property details. If it was an oversight that’s my fault. I understand the need for the security but there has to be a solution. Maybe give the renter the control when and if the cameras are on. It definitely was not something I enjoyed.
This is a great property for utilizing the outdoor space to host family and friends under the pavilion and on the water. And even though the main reason we rented was for the outdoor space, the accommodations exceeded our expectations - the bed was comfy, the ensuite bathroom was very nice, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and host our guests at the place. It is a unique space since you have to exit the bedroom and walk outdoors to get to the kitchen, but the covered patio kept us cozy and the kitchen really was excellent. There's also a separate powder room so your guests can use that and don't have to trek through your bedroom to the private ensuite.
We enjoyed watching the birds over the water and the deer in the forest, building fires in the firepit, and walking around the very quiet neighborhood. It was a great winter stay for us, we hope to return in the summer to splash in the lake!
The view and the size of the yard were great! I must have missed in the description that each room of the place is a separate door, you can't go between the kitchen and the bedroom without going outside. Also, there isn't anywhere to eat indoors. We had nice weather so it wasn't a problem, and our dog loved the huge yard.
