Located on one of the most sought-after residential "In-Town" streets, this quintessential New England dutch colonial home has just been completely remodeled with all new marble and stylishly tiled bathrooms, all new beautiful flooring, a nice sized, bright cheery eat-in kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances, an oversized living room with huge new smart TV, large back yard deck with new BBQ, and a graveled circular drive entrance. The house sits at the very top of the cul-de-sac, +/- 0.6 miles from the harbor/town - an easy 10 minute stroll down the shady tree-lined street. The house itself is nestled back against roughly 20 acres of woods with a pleasant brook running through the edge of the property.

This home was even better than advertised. It was spacious and very nicely equipped. It truly was a place to enjoy the woods where a family of friendly turkeys visited us most days. We walked into town every day and after shopping or eating retreated to our private sanctuary. It located at the end of a beautiful street with nice homes and friendly neighbors. If we come back to Maine we’ll stay here.
My husband and i just completed a four week stay at this property and we only have good things to say. It's a really great house on a great street in the best town in mid-coast Maine! The house was extensively renovated in early 2022 and it is clean fresh and newly painted with lots of updated features. All three full baths are completely new with quality fixtures, tiles and glass doors. The lighting throughout the house is LED so the light is clear and white. The master suite is spacious with a king bed and an en suite bathroom with a large double vanity and large glass fronted shower. There is another bedroom with a queen bed and across the hall is a generous full bathroom. The third bedroom is enormous, private and has two queen beds. The bathroom for this bedroom is smaller than the others and down a few stairs but still close by. All of the mattresses are new and very comfortable. There is a huge new TV in the living room with excellent cable service. The owner was very responsive to anything we needed. The only thing i would caution you about is that there are lots of stairs - to get into the house and while inside - so keep that in mind if its an issue for you.
We loved the house and the town and the whole surrounding area is just beautiful with so much to do!
We've stayed at many vacation homes over the years and this one was one of the very best. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and our frequent short walks into Camden. It's almost at the foot of Mt. Battie and we found a walking trail close by to the top which was amazing. It's about a 12 minute drive to both Rockland and Belfast and about 5 minutes to Rockport, so we loved the convenience. The house itself was lovely. It appeared that everything was pretty much brand new and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were bright, clean and well done. The kitchen was also bright, spacious and had everything we needed. The house is very private, very quiet and backs up to a nice forest area where we sat on the deck and watched some fun birds and even a deer. Between the house itself and its location, it was a pleasure staying here and we definitely plan on being back.

Hi there! I love the idea of having people share in the experience of living in this beautiful, refreshing, vibrant area, even if only for a fairly short stay. Through the location, decor and house style, (plus being a walk away from amazing dining, trails, harbor and shopping), I have tried to make your stay very memorable, easy and New Englandy.
Why they chose this property
Location, location, loc.... you get the idea. A stately home, a beautiful walk into town past the harbor with the added benefit of the house being very well appointed and fully remodeled. With virtually total privacy, we don't even need many window coverings because basically no one is around.
What makes this property unique
Very private, quiet forested lot on a very pleasant winding road yet a short walk into town.
