The property and house was very clean and as pictured. Beds were comfortable. Very peaceful neighborhood. Really cute on the inside. It had everything that we needed.
The home as very comfortable and the workmanship in the remodel was top notch. It had an old fashioned quality with a modern twist. It was just a quick 5/10 minute drive into downtown Beaufort but very close to Parris Island and MCAS Beaufort. I would stay again.
Cozy house within convenient distance from Savannah Georgia and Charleston South Carolina. We wanted to stay in between both cities and visit the beaches nearby. The home was the perfect location and size for our family.
The house is cute and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was stocked and easy to cook in, living room and TV were like “being at home”. Husband especially loved the dual-head shower and pressure. The only drawback for us was arriving after dark and not having any outdoor lights to navigate into the house. There isn’t a side walk so the tree rubbish didn’t provide a “lit path” so it was a little uneasy in the dark finding our way inside. (We should have mentioned our late arrival -Perhaps a light would have been left on outside. We appreciated the small bedroom lamp on the inside) The neighborhood is SUPER quiet and not as well lit as the ‘burbs were used to navigating. The location was easy to journey around town and local islands. Close enough to the downtown marina and awesome Hearth pizza joint among other restaurants and sweet boutiques. Lovely stay!
This property was great! It was very clean and looked just like the photos. They left us cookies and the coffee station was amazing, it quickly became our favorite spot in the mornings :-) My family came for my nephew's Marine graduation from Parris Island and this location was conveniently about 15 min away. Communication with the host was awesome they were very quick to respond and answer questions. We would most definitely stay here again. It truly felt like a home away from home.
I was thoroughly impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism of the property management team and the owners. I wanted a place to stay strictly to visit with my new grand baby and had to take my work with me. The home had everything we needed and then some. The internet was great while I worked and I never experienced any slowness or interruption. I loved the location, it was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Very safe and quiet area. Everyone we met was so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend and would go again. It was a wonderful trip to make some memories.
Beautiful and comfortable home. Just a few min drive to downtown. Autonomy shop next door but did not cause us any noise issue whatsoever! I will certainly return for weekend getaways. We had a mobile massage therapist come and give us massages at the house. We enjoyed local escape rooms and shopping/dining .
Management was quite hard to get ahold of. Tried to book for days with no response from Management. After several messages and several days I sent a message that I was going to reach out to the owner to complete a reservation and only then did they get RIGHT back to me and completed my reservation.
Owner is local and owns a local shop.. easy to find. Just fyi
Other than that.... great experience!
Unfortunately didn’t receive the check in instructions, so I had to call the company to retrieve on the date of our reservation. They apologized and sent right away. Overall, the listing matches the description and also other reviews. The home sits right outside of downtown Beaufort and was an easy commute to the Harbor, downtown shops and restaurants. Hunting and Helena Islands were a quick 25-30 minute drive, so we found it really convenient for our visit. We found the home to be private, full of charm, and was comfortable for our 3 day weekend. All of the rooms were nicely decorated with cozy sheets and beds. The shower was very nice with double shower heads and excellent pressure, but it was a bit annoying that the television remotes had dead batteries. The front door lock was also a bit tight and difficult to lock and unlock with the key provided. The toilet also seemed to run sometimes and required a rattle of the handle. All in all, just a few minor things that happen in a home, but it was a nice place and worth the price. I would stay here again and recommend to someone visiting Beaufort.
The location to Parris Island was great. And the house was beautiful inside and out. Everything we needed was there even down to a box fan in the bedroom. I would definitely stay here again.
This felt like someone’s home, not a rental. It was super cute and eclectic and out of the three VRBOs my family rented, this one was by far the nicest and most adorable.
We were in Beaufort for a funeral and this home was a great accommodation. The property is close to a lot of eateries and downtown Beaufort. Will stay again!
