This luxury 2 story beach house (2BR/1BA) plus guest house (1BR/1BA) is located in an exclusive and private area on the Placencia Peninsula. Peaceful and right on the
Caribbean Ocean the main house provides 2300 sq. feet of space with 2 large bedrooms, 1 large bath, a utility room with washer/dryer, large kitchen with all new appliances, a den and living room space with a 47” flat panel TV. The second floor provides additional living space, and a beautiful and furnished veranda overlooking the Caribbean Ocean. The main house sleeping accommodations include 3 Queen size beds on first floor, and Queen bed and 2 twin beds on second floor. As a bonus, a new guest house just a few steps away from the main house is available at no additional cost which sleeps 2 and includes an additional bathroom, kitchen, and living space with 47" TV and DVD player.

Sports equipment is provided which includes several kayaks, snorkeling gear, and the best in fishing rods and reels. This equipment can be enjoyed right off our private beach and 130’ long pier and palapa. Also, this property comes with a new 12' fiberglass boat and Yamaha outboard engine which can be used along the shore to fish, sight see, and snorkel on a coral reef just a few hundred yards off our private beach.

Also, at a great reduced rate, our Guide can take you fishing (spinning reel and fly fishing) at some of the very best places offshore and also snorkeling at the most beautiful Cayes in the Caribbean. If you wish to snorkel, fish, or just sit on the pristine island beaches surrounded by blue Caribbean water off one of the many Paradise islands then that’s all up to you. When returning at the end of the day, you can cook fresh lobsters and fish on the 5-burner stainless steel BBQ. The Guide will prepare the lobsters he can catch for you and fillet the fish prior to your return to the beach house.

This property can be reached by driving from Belize City, which is a beautiful drive with stunning views, or take a 20-minute flight on Tropic or Maya Airlines from Belize City to the Placencia Airport. From the Placencia Airport one can rent a car or take a taxi to the beach house.

For those who like to fly fish for Bone, Tarpon, Permit, and Snook, the owner and his Guide can help you prepare for an EPIC fishing trip also including those who use regular fishing gear as well.

Paradise

Wonderful trip. Carmen was so helpful and responsive any time we needed anything. The house is as described, we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We had a blast out on Ray Caye and we caught enough fish to have for dinner the remainder of our stay. Read the instructions from Carmen and take advantage of the places he recommends, he's got it down. Our whole crew had blast. We can't wait to come back again. I'll miss coffee on the gorgeous palapa.

Two weeks in Belize

Carmen was very attentive to our family's needs as we traveled with an 11 month old. Communication with him was excellent prior to our arrival and while we were in Belize. The house was neat, clean and comfortable. The upper level was not usable space for our family, consisting of an infant, 5, 7, 8, 11 year old children and adults, as the steps were steep and daunting. The guest house was small but accomodated 2 adults.The property is a huge sandy lot with beautiful flowers and palm trees. The beach has a firm, sandy sea floor, and is not over 3 to 4 feet deep for 200 plus feet. The palapa was a great place to chill, fish and jump in the water. Kayaks were great fun as well.Went out to Ray Caye with Lincoln for a fabulous day of fishing and snorkeling.Housekeeping, upon request, was well done and groundskeeping was provided weekly.Many wonderful memories of our 2 weeks in Belize.through 70

Great vacation

Beautiful house with a nice beach area. The host was accessible and quickly responded when we accidentally locked the keys inside the guest house. We loved being able to take the kayaks out into the ocean and even got to see a manatee.

Amazing beach house!

This is the place to stay if you are visiting Placencia! The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need for a family vacation from towels, to pots and pans, to snorkel gear, fishing gear, and even a small boat. The property was beautiful and very well maintained. The dock and palapa were immensely enjoyed by the adults and children throughout our stay. The owner was just a phone call away and even arranged a snorkeling/fishing guide for us one day. I can’t imagine why you would want to stay anywhere else. 😀

Wonderful Property

We had the best time here!! What an awesome property. Everything was great and everything we needed was right there. Property owner is full of information about the area and checked in on us. I think the owner makes it clear but the ladder to get upstairs is not easy to navigate for all. We had 3 teenage girls between 13-19 so it worked great for us and gave them their own little space.

Great property Northern part of peninsula

We loved our stay and the separate guest house for my married son and his wife was perfect for their privacy when wanted and the large house held us all each night as we played games and relaxed together. The house is about 30 min to the end of the island where shops and the pier is if you are going on a water excursion, but also super easy for us to do our inland activities. We went zip lining in the jungle, floated the river, hiked some Mayan ruins, rode ATV,s and visited the only jaguar preserve in the world. Carmen gave us all the details would could need and more and was very helpful. We would definitely visit again!

The place in paradise.

I want to express our sincere gratitude for allowing us to stay in beautiful beach house in Belize. The house is genuinely a piece of paradise, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The accommodation was fantastic, and the overall experience was enhanced by the breathtaking surroundings. The exceptional customer service provided made our stay even more enjoyable. The house’s proximity to restaurants and shopping places was very convenient. We discovered a charming spot nearby with freshly made bread and sweets. Additionally, the downtown area of Placencia was only 30 minutes away, adding to the convenience and variety of our stay. When you sit on the pier, you truly feel like you’re in heaven—a perfect complement to the overall experience. This has been the best place I’ve ever stayed, and I highly recommend it to others.

Great house in Caribbean Plantation

The house, the property, the host...all were incredible. Just what we were looking for! I was traveling with my wife and sister in law. We took the main house and she took the cottage. Both were above and beyond what we expected. We used Carmen's recommendation and took a snorkel/dive trip with Wayne out to Ray Caye for an incredible day of seeing the reef and swimming with nurse sharks and turtles. The ONLY issue we had was the skiff motor wasn't running so we couldn't use the boat that came with the house but that really didn't phase our vacation. We highly recommend The Caribbean Beach House!

Amazing beach house family reunion

The beach house feels like it is in a safe area and has a good security system. Air conditioning worked great and was appreciated with temps in the upper 90’s. Our friends spent a few nights in the guest house and was perfect for them to have some privacy. There palapa was a great place to spend evenings on the ocean with a comfortable predicable breeze. The advertised motor boat did not have a functioning motor ( which does not sound like it’s getting replaced) so we did use the kayaks. Tried to go snorkeling from the house but the jelly fish were dense and stinging which is more common in May ( I was told). Took some snorkeling trips with Wayne which were amazing and highly advise. Went to Ray caye and Queen caye. Also did a trip up the Eco Monkey River trip which we all enjoyed and guaranteed seeing monkeys and we did. Would definitely go back.

BEST VACATION HOUSE EVER!!!

Let me try to describe how thrilled we all were with this property! Two couples, long time friends, fabulous vacations. We pull up and the house is gorgeous, inside and out. The sand from the guest house to the palapa had been raked. What a nice touch! The house had everything we wanted, needed and more. The guest house was great too. We slept there and let our friends have the main house master bedroom. But where we spent most of our time, and made most of our memories was down at the palapa. We brought the house Bose down with us, hooked it us to our phone and sang and danced and read and drank Lynne's fabulous rum punch. We got to meet the caretaker, Elsworth, a couple times. He raked the sand again and even took out our trash one morning. What a really nice guy. If I ever go back to Belize (yes please!) I will definitely stay at Carmen's again. He was a great host and even checked in on us to see how everything was going.

Top notch vacation and very affordable

"My finance and I stayed at the Beach House, and we had a wonderful time. The main house is a top notch home that we found very comfortably furnished, very clean, and aesthetically beautiful. We did not spend much time in the guest house but it appeared to be well built, and perfectly comfortable and furnished. The pier is everything it appears to be in the pictures, fantastic! The beach house location is another big plus as we felt completely safe the whole time. Carmen was accessible by phone and email, and accommodating with any questions. I liked being close to Placencia Village but not actually in it. There are numerous good places to eat near by (we liked BJ's and the Mayan Bistro) and Carmen's fishing/diving guide is great. All the included amenities are new and quality brands. The included WIFI Internet access is a huge benefit as is the central AC, which ran like a champ. We will be going back next year, and with the lay of the land figured out, we hope to have an even better time than this year. A great bargain, and money well spent."

Great place for families

Carmen’s home and guest house were perfect for our visit to Placencia area. We enjoyed 3 days with Wayne - one fishing and snorkeling near Ranguana Caye, one touring Monkey River/Village and the Howler Monkeys and another fly fishing for my husband while the rest of us went zip lining, river tubing and swimming in the waterfalls with Truly Wild Belize Tours. All were fantastic and I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Carmen’s place is fully equipped for everything you’d need and we cooked 2 meals at home (fish we caught and lobster that Chino caught for us) and ate at local restaurants for 3 dinners. We didn’t use the dock and palapa or water toys as much as we expected to as our days were super busy and we were exhausted by the evening. Carmen checked in with us to make sure things were going well and was very communicative before the trip as well. I’d highly recommend this place to families looking to visit Placencia. You do need a car and we drove from BZE which was a beautiful drive. The stairs to the upper level are steep but manageable. We had a early 20’s guest stay upstairs and she did fine.

Great time, great bargain

Private and Beautiful

Carmen's beach house is amazing! Beautiful, comfy and welcoming. Not only is the home's section of beach private, we barely saw anyone else all along the visible shoreline It was amazing to relax out on the palapa. I had hoped for better snorkeling there, but it was mostly grassy with a few jellyfish. There is some coral within swimming distance, which was beautiful, but still not many fish. We booked a fishing/snorkeling tour with Wayne. The day was windy, chilly and at times rainy. We only caught a few bait-sized fish and never got to snorkel because the water visibility was too poor. That was super disappointing because snorkeling was the reason we went to Belize. Carmen's boat cannot be used to take you to the cayes where the snorkeling is good. But all that being said, Belize is a fabulous place to visit with much to see., and the home is well-stocked and perfect. Carmen was great on communication and so thoughtful! I would definitely visit again, but probably in Feb or March. Our fishing guide who substituted for Wayne said that January is when the windy cold fronts move in.

Just a slice of paradise!

Any property that has practically a private beach is just beautiful, and this one lived up to that! The dock really made it…we spent many afternoons and on into the night on that dock. We learned while we were there that docks aren’t actually private, but there’s really very little risk of anyone else wanting to use it! We encountered a total of 2 people walking along the beach while we were there! We truly felt like we were in paradise…and certainly helped us decide that we are definitely coming back to the Placencia area! The house is about a 30 minute drive from Placencia…which ended being a little far for us because we ended up going into the village, everyday, but we did not expect that. Highly recommend Taste Belize to assist with tours…they were great for us with their dinner tour, Kriol cooking tour and their coffee tour with Coffee Rick! Communication with the owner was easy and smooth. We cook a lot and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Our only hiccup was finding that only 1 person in our party could use the upstairs due to the rickety attic ladder access. That upstairs area is wonderful, with an amazing veranda…we wished more could use it. Yes, the owner disclosed it to us in the FAQs that were provided separately, but it seems worth including in the VRBO listing to be up front. Perhaps time for a more sturdy ladder to be installed to make the upstairs perfect for everyone. The pullout mattresses could use replacing too but we just ended up sleeping on top of the sofa which worked fine. The positives far outweighed the hiccup we ran into as we had a wonderful time, and like I said, this was only our first trip to Belize!
