I had booked it for a family of three plus 2 dogs, and it turned out to just be my daughter and I going. This was a great place to stay . Sort of in the middle of all places we were planning on going. We enjoyed our stay very much.
It was clean and very comfortable for us.
Thank you for having us and we look forward to coming out again.
My husband, doggie and I traveled with 3 friends to this property to view the Eclipse. We had such a great time! The property is welcoming and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is more spacious than the online photos depict. The house was very clean and tidy and it has everything anyone would need for a VRBO stay (eg, towels, cooking utensils, etc.) and a big plus is that our dog could come along too! Both the front and back yards are expansive. We had crystal blue skies for the Eclipse and we all hung out in the front yard to view it on April 8th. What a show! We could have not dreamed of a better place to view the total Eclipse! The hosts were very responsive with check-in and check-out instructions and wonderful. Overall, definitely a 10+ star experience!
The peoperty is a great home base for exploring the Ozarks around Bull Shoals ans Norfork Lakes. We weren't fishing but it would be great for that, with plenty of room for parking. There is good space for sitting and chatting, playing games, and dining together as a group. The only challenges we had were the beds in the smaller bedrooms were NOT comfortable for adults. The larger bedroom with the king bed was very comfortable. We also had a problem with some of the cookware. The pans needed cleaning before we could use them. The dutch oven nonstick came off on our food, and one of the mugs had a handle snap off the moment we picked it up. These are things I wouldn't hold the host responsible for because they wouldn't know if someone had left it that way. And just put the pans back. But, for the host, you might consider swapping those items out! Apart from that, it was a great option for us, and we would definitely stay here again!
We planned this as a last minute family trip to get away from our busy city life before school starts and we had a really great time trout fishing, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, and hiking. we found plenty to do in a week including a few great places to eat. owners were very responsive and house worked out perfect and dog friendly.
