Wonderful

There were 5 adults and 3 young children in our group. The house is beautiful and in a perfect location…close to the beach and pool. Everyone one enjoyed the vacation. My daughter and her boyfriend highly recommend Boshamps. We also enjoyed McGuires.

Beautiful house

This house was perfect for our group of 7. We cooked all of our meals during our 4 night stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils. There’s a coffee machine, blender, hand mixer, toaster. The rooms were stylish, comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was very quiet and the beach was so gorgeous. The community pool was not crowded and was heated. We had a great time overall. Things we paid extra for: - chair and umbrella rentals for the beach - early check in Things we had to provide ourselves: - beach towels - toilet paper (we ran out after 3 nights) - paper towels (we ran out halfway through) - laundry detergent - dishwasher pods - ice (ice maker couldn’t make ice fast enough) - sponges for washing dishes - hand soap for the kitchen - trash bags - kitchen surface cleaner We were surprised that the house was not fully stocked with these day to day items to keep the house clean. Otherwise, it would have been a 5 star stay. The host was responsive for the most part. The dishwasher broke the first night and we had to hand wash the dishes and pans for the rest of the stay. They asked if we wanted it repaired, but did not send someone. The stove would say it was “hot” even when it was off. The doors were hard to open or close at times. There were only two garbage cans outside which we filled quickly. If we had stayed an extra night the trash would have become a problem. Great memories, great house, great value, but there’s room for improvement.

Big space

This house had lot of space and a lot of stairs. Everything was great just struggled a bit with doors and locks. It was clean, good location and great communication for any help we needed.

Our stay was nice but there were a few things like the lights in the living area wouldn't stay on and a few of the bedroom doors either locked you out the room or locked you in the room other than that it was a nice home and neighborhood. The host did call me being very rude about towels that were left on the floor and something about the dishwasher that was never used

Family vacation

We had a blast! I loved being so close to the beach. We also really enjoyed the private pool to cool off at the end of the day! Plenty of space for 8 of us! I would stay here again!

Beautiful house in great location

We love the Destin Pointe beaches and amenities, and this beautifully renovated home is easy walking distance to everything. The pool was perfectly shaded in the late afternoon/evening when we were ready for a break from the sun but not from playing.

Family vacation in Destin, FL - Perfect home and location

Perfect stay! Our family of 7, with ages ranging from 5 to 75, had an incredible time at this vacation home in Destin. The location was ideal, with an easy walk to the beach. The space was perfect for both family time and quiet mornings with coffee on the patio. The private pool was a fantastic option, especially when we grilled dinner. The home was well-stocked, clean, and overall amazing. The highlight of our stay was the stunning sunset views and the nightly fireworks show from the patio. The host was also very responsive to any questions we had. We would book this home again during our next visit to Destin. I highly recommend this wonderful vacation home!

Family Vacation

We loved this property, a total of 10 people. We had plenty of room to space out as needed. The kids loved the pool. We enjoyed being able to walk to two different beaches. We brought snorkels and seen so many fish by the rocks. We also seen dolphins almost daily. We cooked almost every meal and had everything we needed. The community was very quiet as well. We also loved that we were in short distance to our favorite restaurants. Boshamps is a must every trip!

Lovely!

This is a lovely, comfortable home in a beautiful gated community. The house is well-stocked (kitchen, linens, toiletries, etc.) but bring your own beach towels. Both community pools are infant/kid-friendly. The walk to the beach is sunny but not too long. Daniela, the host, was responsive, and the beach service was also excellent. No problems or issues during our stay. We would definitely go back!

First Time on the Emerald Coast!!

There were six of us who traveled from Maryland to Destin for spring break week. My wife, three teenage children and my mother traveled from the Baltimore area and stayed in this home 3/24/24-3/30/24. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and convenient to the beaches and local amenities such as grocery, retail stores, and restaurants. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and the host did not disappoint with this home. It was spotless upon arrival. The sunroom on the top floor provided a bonus of seeing the weekly Friday night fireworks launched from the Harborview Boardwalk area at 9PM. Other than a little noise from some new construction in the neighborhood, each morning I was able to enjoy sitting on the one of the decks while sipping my cup of coffee. Since there are four levels of the home, there are many stairs but not any different than the other homes in the neighborhood. Since we visited in March, the unheated pool hadn't had much time to warm up but I would assume by mid-late summer, the pool temp will be perfect. The kitchen was well appointed with any type of cookware and utensils you need. Finally, the host was responsive to all my communications before and during our stay. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for cozy, comfortable beach house convenient to the white sand and emerald colored water of the Emerald Coast beach. Enjoy!

Blessings By The Beach

We were a group of gals who graduated from high school together and gathered to celebrate amazing friendships and our 60th birthdays! This was the perfect place for us! The property was beautiful, and an easy walk…just minutes from the beach! Enjoyed our coffee each morning on the deck, long walks on the beach, time in the sun, great local shopping, fantastic dining experiences nearby, and could thoroughly relax while we were there. Daniela was very timely with responses to any questions that we had. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath, but plenty of great spaces to gather as a group. It was the perfect place for us to reminisce about our years growing up together, laugh as we remembered high school antics, and make fond new memories!

Great Location

Great location, our new favorite spot. Quiet and relaxing, plenty of space for us all to spend inside the house on unexpected rainy days. Beach walk took maybe 3 minutes, and the drive to boardwalk/restaurants was about 7-10 minutes.

A lovely home, Quaint Community, Unbelievable Beach!

Daniela was a fabulous host! Responsive and welcoming. She and her husband were humble & happy to share their home. The house is exactly as pictured. We were a family of 8 ranging in ages 8, 13, 17, 45, 46 & 70. House was super clean, well stocked with the essentials for a party of 10. Kitchen is equipped to cook breakfast, lunch & dinner. Enough towels (bring beach towels), blankets and pillows. Nice family room for watching TV, a large table for family games. Good AC, water pressure in all bathrooms was excellent. All beds were comfy. While the house is not directy on the beach, You can walk to the beach in less than 3 mins (bridge to beach is on Destin Pointe Rd). This was the most beautiful beach and ocean we have traveled to (and we are well traveled!) We saw dolphins, Manatees & sting rays each day we went to the beach. There are two large community pools ans a tennis court on the property we frequented. All very nice, accomodating and clean! The pool at the house is for lounging and bbq'ing. There is an outdoor shower as well. A couple of things - the house is on 4 floors, lots of stairs. We didn’t mind as the teenagers did all of the lugging of suitcases up and down the stairs. The bedroom off the pool is private & nice with a big bathroom. There is no wifi, minimal lighting there. We loved the accommodations & the beach. You can rent chairs/umbrellas for $250 a week - you need to go to the beach each morning by 815am to have them put out for you.

Review from a family of 7!

This was our annual family vacation. Pros: I had to find a place with 4 bathrooms for all the families and this rental had it. Everyone had really nice, clean, modern, and updated showers, tubs, and vanity (All except the separate guest house-- definitely needs remodeling here). The beach access is very easy to get to! I have elderly frail parents that could not walk for long periods, the complimentary transport service from the HOA is amazing. All you have to do is call them. They will transport to and from the beach. If they see you walking, they'll even offer you a ride. They have all the essentials you'll need. 2 set of washer and dryer. The grill works great! There are plenty of pots and pans, dishes, utensils. There are stored baby play pins and high chair in one of the closets. Daily trash pick up! Cons: Multiple stair levels. This was not ideal for my parents but I should have known better by pictures posted on the listing. No batteries in the TV remotes. Pool was unusable and a sore to the eye. Did not use sitting room. No beach chairs/umbrella stored at the house. We did pay $180 for the valet chairs for 4 chairs and 1 umbrella for 6 days. It's a beach house, would like the basic beach things to be there without additional cost. You're only allowed to set the air conditioner as low as 69. No instructions on how they like the house on check out (sheets in the washer or basket, etc.) We did crab island, kayak, fishing, and lots of pickle ball!
