Quiet Getaway

Good location for a quiet family getaway. Weather was amazing, had lots of fun games to play, and perfect space for anyone with mobility issues. Already booked a return trip!

Adorable cottage

We visited over Thanksgiving and the owners bent over backwards to see that we had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. The house was spotless with very comfortable beds. We will be back!

Peaceful Getaway

Adorable house! So many windows, great view from all of them but you never feel like the neighbors are watching. The master bed placement is perfect. Wake up in the middle of the night and you can see the ships on the ocean. Quiet neighborhood. Comfy couches, giant TV, kitchen well stocked. Our dogs loved it too. We will 100% return. Owners were very responsive and helpful as we made a last minute reservation and they had to go above and beyond to assist us.

Super comfortable and cozy

We felt at home immediately, the place was as advertised and most comfortable, and well appointed. Kathy was very responsive whenever we reached out. We have already booked a return trip😎! Only thing I could recommend is possible new patio cushions.

Absolutely amazing

This place is spectacular. When I first took a step in the cottage my breath was taken away by how beautiful it was inside! Everything is just perfect. And everything you need to have a dog with you is right there as well. They really thought of everything. And the location can’t be beat. We’re really considering making this place a regular vacation because we loved it so much.

Relaxing days

This was our third visit to Coral Cove. We just love it, being so close to the water, relaxing always listening to the waves. We like the home open design, it is well stocked and is always clean. A very nice place.

We had the best stay again this year at this wonderful little cottage. It gets better every year!! Thanks for providing a great home that is so cozy and peaceful. Looking forward to hopefully coming again next year for our annual family vacation.

Lovely house, peaceful location

This charming cottage was perfect for our beach vacation. Slaughter beach is quiet and natural and a just a little bit remote. The cottage has direct access to the beach and is on a quiet road just right for biking or jogging. Everything is exactly as pictured in the listing and the hosts were helpful but left us with our privacy. Highly recommended!

Lovely little cottage on the bay

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is in a purely residential neighborhood and right on the beach. The house is very well appointed and comes with many of the essentials (linens, toiletries, paper gods, cookware) and non essentials (beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, bikes) you will need for your stay. And the property grounds are gorgeous!

Amazing and Peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Cottage. The place was beautiful and quiet. It was very well stocked with lots of great things. It is so close to the beach and you can see the water from the back of the house. The sunrises were spectacular. I recommend stopping at one of the local farm markets along the road. We loved it so much!!!

Family Vacation

We had a great time as a family of 4 adults, 2 children under 4 years and 2 dogs. The property was clean and comfortable. We played games, sat on the beach, rescued a horseshoe crab back to the water and watched a turtle come up the beach and lay its eggs. Overall, a good time for all. The 4th of July fireworks we awesome right on the beach. No need to travel for them.

What a Gem!

The cottage was so lovely, clean and well stocked. It was wonderful to see the water from just about anywhere in the house. Thoughtful touches made us feel so welcome and made the cottage so inviting. We were thrilled to witness the turtles laying their eggs. We saw a shark one day, a fox and many different types of birds. What a wonderful week. I will definitely be back!

Excellent Getaway!

My family spent a week at the Coral Cottage and we loved it! It had everything we needed and was super clean. We loved the quick walk to the water. It was literally steps away. The natural, quiet feel of the beach was a nice change from the very busy, crowded beaches in other towns. We would definitely return.

Family memories

Relaxing setting with great sunrises! Wonderful beach walks, exciting fishing during high tide and quiet! We love the Delaware natural beaches in the bay. This cottage is a perfect getaway (and it is close to dogfish head brewery). Highly recommended.

Beautiful escape right off the beach

The house was perfect for us, tucked just behind the dunes so it was plenty private, but so close to a quiet stretch of beach that it was easy to just wander out for a walk before (and after) breakfast. The house itself is really nicely put together - cozy, clean, and well appointed with lots of convenient little touches. We would absolutely stay again!

Magnificent ocean view

This is a perfect out of the way property to relax and enjoy the ocean. Well kept and very cottage like feel. Comfortable and well appointed with plenty of options to keep occupied from beach walking, lots of games and a relaxing feel. Perfect for a family or a couple to reconnect.

Enjoy the view of the ocean

There's windows on all sides of the house. The wall that faces the beach/bay is all windows, so you see the water at all times of day. It keeps you connected with the bay.

DE turf trip

We had a wonderful time as a coaching staff. Everything was easily accessible and really beautiful. It was the perfect opportunity to relax after games on the beach. We even did a little workout and polar plunge. Highly recommend for any stay in the area. We will definitely be back to stay in the future!

Perfect beach cottage

This was a perfect place for us to get away and have some unplug time as a family. The beach was lovely, we took 2-3 walks a day down the beach flipping horseshoe crabs, skipping rocks, playing fetch. It was awesome. We will be back.

Returned A Second Time!

2nd time staying in this charming, beach front cottage. So clean and well equipped (beach towels etc) & super quick and clear communication with owners. There is lovely open kitchen & family room. It is perfect for small family or friends get away. Plus wall of windows to see sunrise!
