Conveniently located to boat ramp and Platte Creek Store. It was clean. Just what my family needed to spend a few nights after fishing. Host was easy to communicate with.
Super close to the lake and camp area store. There is only 1 bedroom and the other sleeping area is a convertible couch. There were no bed linens for the couch which was maybe not so bad but pillow cases are a must - especially when the pillows were a little stained. Fire pit and outdoor seating were an added benefit.
The property was great and loved the location.
The only thing that would have made it better was an outdoor table. There was no where to sit outside and eat. 2 of the outdoor chairs had cushion bottoms that were wet from the previous night’s rain.
2 of the Adirondack chairs were broken.
The place was still really great and we would stay there again.
Only one queen bed in a bedroom, couch could convert for a couple smaller kids I suppose. They say there is a blow up mattress? We didn't use this but space is limited in front of couch for it. Would have to blow it up and deflate every day or store outside?
Tiny house located near Platte Creek with a great view.
We arrived for an extended weekend. Seasoned campers would make the following changes: a table for the outdoor patio with umbrella or lanai and garden hose outside in case of fire. I thought the tiny house was amazing, but could use a bit more cleaning in bath and kitchen. All and all, we would stay again. Great area with a view for sunsets and full moons. Friendly folks all around.
Great place, great people with a fun atmosphere. Will do it again.

Weekend Getaway Disappointment
Our main issue with the rental property (tiny home) was the value proposition. For price per night, we expect that the property would be clean, in good condition and have means to secure our belongings. Overall the property was generally clean, but the bathroom had the pervious occupants hair on the vanity and in the tub, there were dirty wash rags on the edge of the tub, bath towels were stained, only one of the two entrance doors would lock and the fire pit was full of cigarette butts and trash. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit were all broke except for one, the floor air vents in the unit were mostly brome and there were several areas in the unit where the floor trim boards were missing. Again, for price per night costs we expect better property conditions. We will not rent this unit again.
This tiny home could not be more convenient for fisherman! It's a couple minutes from the boat ramp. It has plug ins for your trolling motor as well as easy parking. It has a fantastic bar and restaurant on the premises as well as bait, ice and gas. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Just bring food and beer! Adam, the host, checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Adam!
