Very good

First off, the scenery is beautiful, right at the New River and the cabin itself was very clean. The reason for only three stars were the bathroom facilities. There is no running water in the cabin itself and the water in the communal bathroom had an unpleasant smell. The showers need an update as well. I'm also glad that I asked about linens, because it was not clear in the app that those would not be provided. This is a glamping experience.

This property provides a wonderful riverside stay on the New River right on the river with easy access and easy parking right in front of the cabin efficiency. Close access to to the Whitehorne Boat Ramp for those the need a ramp as well as the scenic McCoys Falls right up Rt 625. Communication and instructions was excellent to plan our arrival and stay for the weekend. We look forward to coming back again this summer.

Rained out
We decided not to stay because of the rain. We was going to go ahead and make the best of the situation and go tubing but the junction was closed so it really made no sense for all of us to hang out in the small cabin. Hate we lost our money but thats life. The camp area is shared with other campers and the cabin was located in the back away from the river there is only one big fire pit to use so it seemed awkward for us. We just decided to take our losses. We found a spot down the road to grill some burgers. The host was nice and couldn't control the weather. Wish we had known ahead of time.
Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and surrounding campground. Rented tubes to float down the river. Great experience! Clean cabin. A/C made it really nice. Jake was a great host.
