Your Family will Enjoy this SPACIOUS Private Home Nestled in a Quiet Culdesac ! Sheets and Towels Provided. Large oversized lot, plenty of open space with New Volleyball Court, play Pool, enjoy Swimming in our Private Salt Pool or relax in our New Hot Tub etc. Wake up to a Beautiful Sunrise with Ocean Views over a hot cup of coffee from Deck off the Great Room and Sunset from the West Side Decking . Top Floor-Open Large Great Room, Dining Area (deck facing the ocean) Updated Granite Kitchen with private decking to view sunsets. Also has a Master Queen Bedroom with its own Sitting Room (twin fold up bed available in sitting room) facing the ocean. There is also a half bathroom on the landing .

The Second Floor contains a Large King Master Suite with Sitting Room (contains a fold up twin bed) with private decking of the west views. Master Queen Bedroom with Full Bathroom, Large King Bedroom (private deck ocean side) that shares a bathroom (Jack & Jill) with a Oversized Bedroom and 2 Queen Sized Beds. T.V’s in all bedrooms, Great room and game room.

The First Floor has a Large Game Room with Pool Table , Granite Wet Bar , Full Size Refrigerator , TV, DVD, Roku, Half Bath, Gas Fireplace, Books, Video Library, Games & Patio with Pergola and Picnic Table.

There is a laundry area on the first landing.

A Wonderful Beach House

We had the best week at this beach house. Eileen is the perfect host as she thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The house is very clean and as soon as we walked through the doors we felt at home. We absolutely loved the heated salt water pool. Absolutely 5 starts out of five and total 👍

Awesome Vacation

Our family vacation at Pelican Rest was everything a vacation should be at the beach. Everything was included such as beach chairs, wagon, pool, grill and a host that was always available for questions or help with anything we needed.

Perfect OBX family vacation experience!

This property is exceptional and Eileen is an excellent host! Our family of 7 adults, 1 child (18 month old) and two dogs all had a great time staying in this very clean home with plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed and more. We appreciated all the amenities available with this property, especially the baby monitor, safety gate and high chair for my granddaughter. We couldn’t have found a more child friendly and dog friendly property in such a great location! Everyone enjoyed the private pool area with heated salt water pool, hot tub, cabana and plenty of seating with umbrellas. The beach chairs and wagon that Eileen provided were very much appreciated! Eileen was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She made sure that we enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Corolla stay

Wonderful house including everything you need. Everything was perfect including the pool and host Eileen. 5 minute walk to the beach access stairs. Would stay there again. It's worth the wait getting thru the Duck traffic. Was a bit of road noise and lots of stairs, but still a five star property at a reasonable price.

Fantastic get away despite the weather

Eileen was a great host and made the stay easy and fun. We had exceptionally bad weather, the entire week, but made the most of it with the pool, hot tub, and game room, supplemented by arts and crafts. Eileen kindly assisted with helping us after we found a lost dog while hiking one afternoon, and successfully got him back home the next day. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful place for a relaxing vacation

Amazing shore house!

Fabulous family vacation

House was lovely, description accurate and very clean! We loved the hot tub and salt water pool. Beach access is 1/2 mile from end of driveway, very doable with children. Eileen even provides a wagon to cart beach supplies. We really enjoyed our time here and the layout of the house was very nice for 4 different families to sleep well. Would definitely return!

Our First Family Vacation with 4 generations

Everything was great! Complete setup means just that, we had everything we needed. Rooms worked perfectly for our families, the pool was refreshing, hot tub was relaxing, and the game room was fun! Fun and Sun at the beach.

The property is awesome! The property is perfect for a large family- we had ten. The house is well maintained- everything in working order. The kitchen is well equipped; beach chairs provided. There is nothing not to like about this beach house.

Fantastic Family Vacation!!!

Where to start….. This was by far the Best place we have stayed!! The listing for the property was 100% accurate. Eileen was a great host from the time we booked in 2021 to the drive home! The house was perfect we had 4 families with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever you may need! The outdoor living space was fabulous with a beautiful pool, hot tub and sandy volleyball court! We are already looking forward to our next stay!! Thank you so much Eileen for everything!

I would live here!

The home was so lovely. I loved the decor and all the space and the fact we all (7 of us) had our own bathrooms and for the most part decks! Everything that you can think of was provided for us - it was amazing. I would love to live here for the pool alone amongst other things. Eileen was a fabulous host who was extremely responsive anytime we called her. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely return. Thank you Eileen and Michelle!

Best week ever!

Awesome family vacation the house is amazing. You only need your personal belongings food and drink. The house is equipped with everything you need and then some. The host is an amazing person. She checked in with us and could be easily reached if we had any questions. The house was immaculate, We enjoyed the pool , hot tub, sand volley ball court, pool table. The beach is very clean there are steps but not crowded and very family oriented. The grocery store, shops and water sports very close, thanks again to a great host our trip was amazing.

Perfect Stay at Pelican Rest

Our family of 7 adults thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lovely beach house with plenty of space for everyone! This was our 15th year vacationing in OBX and this was by far the best equipped home! We can't emphasize this enough. You certainly don't need to bring much. We enjoyed the pool, volleyball, cornhole and game room. The owner was so attentive and even delivered a filled gas tank for the grill within 15 min of notifying her that tank was empty. The view of the ocean and short walk to the beach are a plus. First time renting on VRBO - excellent experience

We had never rented before so we were apprehensive, but the detailed reviews of other renters made us feel confident about this house. This house is exactly as described by others - immaculately clean. The minute we got there, we felt comfortable to walk around bare foot (which we don’t always do in hotels). The kitchen was stocked with all appliances needed and then some. Eileen was very attentive. Our beach umbrella broke - no problem, she supplied us with a new one within 10 minutes. The pool filter needed a little attention -no problem, the pool guy promptly came. We would call her and she would answer immediately. We loved how close the house is to the food store, the multiple decks on both sides of the house for sunrise and sunset views. The pool and hot tub are beautiful - we just loved everything about this place. 2 minor critiques: the house is a good 3-4 blocks from the beach. This was fine for most of us, but a difficult walk for my 70 year old parents. I shuttled them in the car, as another guest had mentioned. Also the staircase to the beach can be a little difficult with beach chairs etc. - we would leave the beach wagon by the entrance to the beach and walk up with the chairs & umbrella in hand. All in all we loved the house, the beach, Eileen, and Corolla as a town. Less congested and more quiet than the other OBX towns. We appreciated all of Eileen’s good suggestions when asked - we wish she could write some of them down and leave them in the binder because every place she recommended was great. Can’t wait to go back!

We built our home in 1998, rented it for a few years. Then in 2001 retired and moved down to the Outerbanks. We then bought an additional rental home , and began renting it ourself. We love living by the Ocean !
