Very cool mid-century modern home overlooking the lake, with a waterfall on property. It is a shared property, so there are individuals upstairs with kids, but they were very nice! The driveway is a bit challenging (they all are in this area, though!) but the location is fantastic. Would recommend it!
This house is incredible! The place was immaculate and the host wonderful. Welcomed us with a quick hello ( they are in the property above—but you don’t even know they are there as the rental is offset from the house). The kitchen had an amazing coffee maker, tons of towels, super comfy beds, a large bathroom. The view!!! We sat out on the private deck and sipped coffee watching the lake and birds. There is a wooden bridge with a stream that glows down it. Just a perfect time!
Great views, living area was fantastic for our group to spend time together. Queen mattress was very uncomfortable but the day bed & trundle were very comfortable. Some appliance instructions would have been helpful.
Previous reviews did not understate noise from children late at night.
I visited Ithaca with three friends on a girl's trip. We had a wonderful experience here. The apartment is private, spacious and beautifully appointed. It's a short 8 minute drive to downtown Ithaca and even shorter to the airport. There is one actual bedroom and another separate room that can sleep two~ with fantastic views of the lake. We spent every night watching the sunsets!
There had been comments from other guests about noise from upstairs. Our experience was that noise was really minimal and when we did hear a little toddler foot patter, it was delightful!
Nooshin was responsive and great about communicating. I highly recommend this wonderful apartment.
Nooshin’s house is beautiful! We slept in the day bed/couch because that room had such a nice view and it was really comfortable, but there’s also a separate bedroom. The view was to die for, I spent every evening on the deck watching the sunset over the lake. I booked this stay for the view and it did not disappoint! It was also super easy to get in to Ithaca or to get to shops near the mall. Check in and parking were simple and as described. This is a great choice for a quiet, beautiful Ithaca trip!
My husband, nephew and great nephew stayed here for a weekend. The setting is beautiful but not accessible. There is just one bedroom, a pullout and a futon. There is only one bathroom as well. The beds and linens were of good quality. The temperatures were uncomfortable. We parked outside and had birds and trees drippings and droppings on our cars. The property manager provided suggestions for restaurants and a library of local places of interest were available. It was too expensive for what we received.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Clean, pretty views, not a place to stay more than 1 or 2 nights, loud upstairs owners.
We liked the location and the place was clean. However no furniture to place luggage or unpack clothes. Lighting poor. There was a coffee press and a cappuccino machine but no coffee pot. No TV despite advertisement. The apartment is below the owners . Very loud walking and baby crying which was disturbing.
The space was nice and the view was great. The host was responsive and helpful. However, the listing does not mention that the host lives upstairs and has small children who are sometimes noisy, particularly from 9-10pm, which makes an earlier bedtime difficult. Loud footsteps directly over the bedroom makes it hard to sleep. The steps down to the unit also look directly into the shower window, which seriously compromises privacy at night.

Beautiful View
We stayed here for my sons IC graduation. The view was unbeatable & the beds were comfortable. The rest of the furniture looked cool but was really uncomfortable. Try to obtain the wifi information in advance because the connectivity is not great there. Also be aware that there is only a mini fridge. This location is not for anyone with mobility issues.
The house was bright and clean, and view of the lake from the deck and from the floor to ceiling windows was fabulous, especially at sunset. We would love to come again.
My husband, teenaged son and I had a quick visit to Ithaca a few weekends ago and stayed at this stunning property. We were only there one night visiting our daughter who is at Cornell, but I wish we had been able to stay longer! This property is the private lower level of a larger home and it was just perfect! Not only was the property and setting absolutely gorgeous, but it was all so clean and designed so well. We loved it and enjoyed being there so much. We will definitely try to stay here again on a future visit to see our daughter. Thank you!!
This is a beautiful apartment that had everything we needed. It was extremely clean and well maintained. I'd love to return in warmer weather to be able to enjoy the outdoor space.
This property is stunning. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to stay here again. The waterfall on the property is incredible and so were all of the amazing views. The home is very conveniently located to Cornell and other area attractions. The home owners were good at communicating and live above the property. We definitely plan on returning when visiting our student at Cornell.
Gorgeous Cayuga Lake view and Waterfall haven in the Forest
We absolutely loved this property and enjoyed our stay so much that we wish we had booked it longer. The only draw back was that we wish the WiFi passcode was provided inside the rental, as my phone was not working at the property, being in the trees, and I could not see if the password was listed in the app. On the VRBO site- it just side WiFi not provided yet. Also, the site says 2 tvs. One tv and one smart TV. My spouse requires the TV on to go to sleep and there was only one TV screen in the bedroom with no cable box/no connection. Other than that, everything was amazing and we loved it. We would definitely go back- hoping that these couple of things were provided as listed! :)
