Log Cabin near Lake Glenville

This incredible rustic cabin is next to Lake Glenville and is the perfect getaway for families or friends! Nestled on a 3 acre lot with a creek running through, you are a 12 min drive from downtown Cashiers, and 1/4 mile from public boat ramp. There are multiple parks, hiking trails, as well as a public beach recreation area all within 1 mile. Sapphire Valley Ski Resort is a 20 min drive and a wonderful place to teach kids how to ski. This 3 story house boasts a wrap around porch on the main level and walk out patio from the bottom level facing the lake that includes a fire pit.

The cabin can accommodate 12 guests with 4 BR and 3.5 bath. The main level has a kitchen, den area, dining area and half bath. The dining area has a large walnut table that comfortably seats 8 adults and a bar at the kitchen island that seats four. The master bedroom and bath are also on the main level off of the kitchen.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with four twin beds that is perfect for kids! There is a full bathroom upstairs between the two bedrooms. The upstairs loft also houses a trundle bed that pulls out for additional sleeping quarters.

The basement is newly renovated and boasts a large rec area with a pool table and seating area! The TV swivels so you can watch your favorite game from anywhere in the room! Full bath downstairs and a spacious queen bedroom.

Washer/dryer in laundry room w/ a utility sink. Kitchen fully stocked. Central AC/Heat throughout. Satellite TV (DISH) and one tv on main level and one downstairs. Wifi w/ speeds fast enough to stream (Netflix, Hulu, Disney +).

Mountain Home Near Glenville

Excellent Labor Day getaway!

The cabin was fantastic, and communication with the owners was fast and easy! Beautiful decks, great outdoor space, and a wonderful place to gather around the kitchen, dining room, and living room as a family. Easy lake access as well. Highly recommend!

Mountain Retreat

A beautiful log home situated close to the public beach, boat rental, and beautiful downtown Cashiers. Great hosts who quickly responded to any questions we had. Highly recommend this property.

Great time in the mountains!

Beautiful house to spend time with family. Driveway is a little steep for those with smaller cars. We were able to get a late checkout which was very kind since some family had later flights in Asheville. Overall we had a great time!

Great family vacation spot!

We had a great week at this cabin. It is spacious and well-equipped. We really enjoyed eating on the covered porch and preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The living area was roomy enough for all to be comfortable. The bedrooms and baths were great for the family. Hosts Brad and Will were very attentive and helpful. We appreciated their gracious welcome!

Destination Wedding

We rented this home for our family while attending a wedding at Chimney Pond Farm. The home is only 2.8 miles from the venue. There are plenty of things to do within a short drive of the house such as a public beach and hiking trails. Cashiers, NC only a 15 minute drive from the home.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

The cabin is gorgeous and just a short drive from Cashiers. Be sure to bring your own throw blankets in the colder months to keep cozy. When we were there, the satellite subscription was not turned on and we could not access live TV. The property manager said he will fix this by replacing the Roku. Overall a wonderful weekend in the mountains!

NC Mountains

Very pretty location in North Carolina, 15 min at the most from Cashiers on beautiful Lake Glenville. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our requests. It was the coldest day of the year when we arrived and thankfully, we never lost power. The house had enough room and beds for two families.

Cabin in the Woods

We really enjoyed this property. The back porch looks out over a big backyard that is surrounded by trees. You can see the lake a little bit thru the trees. Very relaxing. We celebrated my husbands 80th birthday there with family. It’s close to pubic access to the lake. The master bed and upstairs queen are comfortable. Hope to go back one day!

family get away

we had a great time at the cabin. we had 6 adults and 3 kids. The location is great. Its close to the beach and cashiers. We had a couple small issues (leaky faucet) but Brad and his brother in law were very helpful. We would definitely rent this cabin again. Its roomy with a great wrap around porch with nice outdoor furniture. I would recommend this cabin if you want a great family get away

Great gathering place for family and friends

Our family had a wonderful experience at the cabin on Lake Glenville. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy being with each other and to have privacy. The main floor kitchen and the wrap around porch are perfect for flowing in and out, enjoying the forest scenery to include a creek. My granddaughter and her parents enjoyed the upstairs bedroom, the big loft area that’s outside the bedroom and and she loved having her aunt and uncle across the way. My husband and I were on the main floor bedroom - lovely as there is a door that opens up on to the porch and you can hear the songbirds singing. Downstairs is huge and a great hangout spot with a pool table and large comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The outside grounds are beautiful with terraced rocks and plants all around. The outside fire pit is awesome and was ready to be used (time constraints… no fire on this trip because of our schedule). The mountain creek on the side of the property gave me and my granddaughter an opportunity to explore (we found a salamander!). And the road that leads to the county park and campground is a delightful walk (about .5 miles). There’s a nice playground in that park that my granddaughter enjoyed. Our family would certainly enjoy another vacation at this well built and well designed cabin/home.

This cabin was in a great location! It was close to the lake but, only 15 minutes to Cashiers. The cabin had plenty of room to spread out, including a finished basement. Great place!!!

Excellent Cabin Getaway

This cabin is appointed with everything a multifamily gathering could ask for. The large kitchen table allowed for us all to be together at mealtimes. The yard in front was a perfect place for the kids to play (They loved playing at the creek, and we enjoyed to tranquil sound it provided.) The mattresses are VERY comfortable. The appliances are all brand new. The owner was responsive and accommodating. It's a quick .25 mile ride to the public boat ramp, and there is a great pier there for fishing. It was a beautiful view during the wintertime. A short drive to Happs Place is recommended for a wonderful family-friendly dining experience. Live acoustic music and excellent food. We highly recommend this cabin.
