Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing home near the Catskills with the convenience of being right in Kingston. With a lush, spacious backyard and large screened porch, you can enjoy fresh air and greenery while being just minutes from great bars, restaurants, hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities. With 3 large beds, a big comfy couch, and a fully equipped kitchen, this home is great for families and spending time with friends -- furry ones too! Woof! The large master bedroom and blue bedroom have incredible views of the Catskills. There is one full bath upstairs and a half bath off the kitchen. Enjoy backyard grilling, s'mores over the firepit, and game night or movie marathons in the living room. We provide all the comforts you may need - a grill, stocked kitchen, a dog crate and a few toys, yoga mats, free weights, fresh towels, linens, and bath products. The basement is finished with a washer and dryer - great for some quiet yoga, kid (or doggie!) playtime.

Long weekend in Kingston

We had a lovely weekend in Kingston staying here, enjoyed a nice fire and smores with the sunset over the hills.

Clean, comfortable, scenic home

We loved this stay! The home was clean and very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. The backyard is beautiful and we spent so much time on the closed porch. It was great to be able to spend time outside without bugs and protected from the rain. There is a lot to see and do nearby. Definitely recommend! Also fun with our dog :)

Friends reunion

We were three couples from diverse places who reunited for a wedding taking place in the nearby Hutton Brickworks. We enjoyed a very warm autumn day chatting on the porch overlooking colourful trees. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our needs. The nearby train does come by regularly, even at night, but wasn’t too disruptive. We enjoyed our stay in this cozy house.

I immediately booked a hotel to stay in when I got to the property which was overlooking a graveyard and the pictures did not notice me of. I wasted my money booking this place

Lovely little house

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Isabella & Marlon's home. Communication was easy and the house was very nice! It looks to be an older home that has been refurbished and the updates/decor are both attractive and comfortable. Lots of little touches that make a house into a home! We loved being able to have our dogs with us and the backyard was perfect for them. Even though neighboring homes were close by it felt secluded by natural landscaping. There is a wonderful screened-in porch to sit out and enjoy the greenery. We did have to get used to the noise of a train's horn about once an hour, but the air conditioner drowned out the sound during the night so it wasn't a big deal. There are plenty of places to visit and fun activities to do in the Hudson Valley...most of what we did was within a 5-30 minute drive. Kingston seems to be working thru some necessary revitalization of the town, so some areas appeared to be more run down, but not the neighborhood of this vacation rental. Other towns like New Paltz and Saugerties were the same way...some lovely areas mixed with places that seem kinda junky/run down. BUT- all of the businesses we visited gave great service...helpful, friendly, and professional! Biking with New Paltz Biking was excellent, we loved a little dessert co/bakery in Saugerties, the Jolly Cow had incredibly creamy soft serve, Sunrise Bagels were fresh & fantastic, and the Catskill Animal Sanctuary is an incredible place for animal lovers (on the weekends). Thanks for hosting us Isabella!

Great stay!

We had a friends getaway this weekend and stayed here. It was a great house, clean and spacious in a great proximity to town and all the great stores and restaurants that Kingston has to offer!

Nice backyard

The screened in porch and backyard was great! I only have 2 comments vrbo listing showed 2 bathrooms the listing should reas 1.5 bath the property owner does deceive it in the description but it was not very clear. The other item that needs to be more clearly explained is the amount of stairs and how steep they are inside the house, we went with elderly people and the stairs were super hard on them it would have been good to know there are a lot of stairs and that they were steep! On a postive note the beds were super super comfortable and all linens and pillows were excellent quality which is what matters we slept great and this attention to detail is greatly appreciated! The fire pit was awesome and outdoor areas we would def stay here again! And Kingston is so so cool!

Great house in Kingston!

We enjoyed our stay in this great 3 bedroom house. Loved the 3-season screened-in porch, especially since the weather is just getting nicer. The hosts were super receptive to any questions right away. House was clean and we had everything we needed. Thanks so much for a great couple of days!

Great rental for family in quiet neighborhood

My family of 5 and 1 dog stayed at the rental and it was great. Sleeping space for everyone, cozy living room, super close to all we needed - Forsyth Nature Center, Rhinebeck, Rondout, restaurants. Easy self check-in and good communication with owner. Would definitely recommend for a family traveling with pets.

Great place to stay

We all enjoyed are stay. Loved the big screened in porch & the fire pit. The home was well maintained & plenty of room. Even had a gate at the stairs for babies or animals & a high chair. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, quite and blissful

I took a chance on a new listing that had no reviews for 20% off. Amazing property. It's not a huge house but was perfect for me. Quiet street. Quick and effortless communication with Isabelle, the owner. House was spotless. Master bedroom was a joy with an oh-so comfortable mattress. And the enclosed deck! And backyard! I spent most of my time out on the enclosed deck. Downstairs bathroom is tiny but fine. Not a huge kitchen but exactly for my needs. There's a Walmart 10 minutes away; restaurants nearby. Did I mention the Criterion Channel on one of the streaming services! What a pleasant surprise! I do hope to return soon!

Perfect place to relax and serve as a home base!

The property is perfectly located to enjoy all of Hudson Valley from hiking to visiting a cider house or shopping art/antiques. It has 3 large bedrooms and indoor and outdoor spots for a group to gather. The backyard and screened in porch were great for a morning coffee and reading a book before dinner. The property is clean and amenities are very new. We can't wait to come back.

We bought this home in Kingston in 2020, after we fell in love with the back deck and incredible views. We love the amazing food, easy hiking, and access to NYC that Kingston offers.

Isabelle works in non-profit fundraising, and Marlon works at a property management software start-up. My first job as a teenager was cleaning services for a local bed & breakfast, so hospitality is in my bones!

We love to explore the area with our border collie puppy, Molly. We hope you enjoy your stay.
