We had an amazing time at this location! The owner was so responsive to all of our questions and the house was unbelievably beautiful! We had a great time swimming in the lake, playing board games with the family and just spending some much needed time with the fam! I would go back to this location in a heartbeat!!!
We have stayed at several different locations and houses on Norris Lake and this was by far the nicest. The house is in a great location, clean, and very well stocked with everything you could need for a great stay. Paula the owner was easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had along the way. Can't wait to stay here again soon!
What a beautiful and well equipped home to stay in and enjoy life on the lake. We have spent the last 2 vacations at this home and intend to spend many more vacations at Lakin' It Easy. Besides the beautiful home the grandkids love swimming off the dock and taking long daily boat rides.
We loved this house. It was clean, pretty, and the space to just hang out with friends was amazing. We were there in winter, so the lake wasn't really part of our stay except for providing great views. It was perfect for a large group. We loved it.
Our extended family stayed at this property. The home is beautiful and has everything you need. In the past, we have stayed at homes on Norris with 100+ stairs and with aging parents it was nice to have a walkway that was more manageable. They were able to enjoy time by the water.
We had a wonderful time at Lakin’ It Easy. We have stayed in many homes at Norris, and this will definitely be the one that tops the list. The driveway, walkway, and dock are easy to access. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean, cozy, and the two refrigerators and icemaker were awesome to have. Great spaces to all be together. We enjoy mornings on the deck, afternoons at the dock and on the lake and dinners and playing games in the evenings. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home, we plan to come back soon.
Our party of 11 (6 adults and 5 children) had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. We had plenty of room to spread out, both inside and outside. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the commercial ice maker in the basement. The bunk rooms were great for the kids, as were the separate living room downstairs and the cabinet full of boards games. The views of the lake were stunning. The only problem we encountered was a spotty internet connection, but we were warned that this may be an issue given the rural area. I would highly recommend this property.
What a gorgeous home. Well equipped for a large group. The owners are available when needed. We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Waking up each morning to a lakeview and a deck firepit was just what we needed. We rented a boat for the first day and played on the lake all day. We spent Saturday tailgating in Knoxville for the Tennessee vs S. Carolina game. Downtown Knoxville is about an hour & 15 minutes away. We would 100% come back again to this house!
This trip to Norris Lake did not disappoint. One of the most comfortable VRBO’s my family has stayed at. The view of the lake is wonderful. The path down to the lake is easier than most of the houses you will find on Lake Norris. There is a great fire pit with chairs if you like a real fire. If your not feeling up to building a fire there is a lovely gas fire pit on the deck. This house has great A/C, plenty of nice bath and kitchen towels, and very comfy beds. The kitchen is well equipped for all the cooking/baking you may want to do. There is even a crockpot. We loved the set up of the house. Plenty of room to spread out and privacy if you need it. The owner Paula is very responsive. I would recommend staying at this house you will not be disappointed.
The house and views are great. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would love to go when the lake is warm since it was so clear.
This is in no way a knock against the house more just information we had being our first time in the area. The drive is awful. We planned to buy groceries and supplies after seeing the house but the roads and only way to the house made us regret that decision. I know it’s the mountains but we had never been and just wished we had been warned is all.
The lake is beautiful, however after multiple trips to the local bait shop for supplies and advice our group never received even a nibble from a fish. I am assuming this picks up in the summer as well.
Overall our group had fun and the house was great I think next time we would just bring supplies and not plan on leaving for the week.
We could not have been more comfortable and pleased with this wonderful lake front home Communication with the owner was seamless and everything was just as described in the VRBO ad. Not only do the photos not do this home justice, but the items inside the home were first rate. I have never stayed in a home that had more dinnerware than you could use. Dinner plates (more than 20) , utensils (more than 20), wines glasses and driniing glasses (more than 20), plus excellent kitchenware, wine openers, platters, and just about every kitchen gadget you could imagine. We did not want to anything. The furniture is newer, clean, and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and bedding clean and top of the line brands. The dock was a perfect spot to relax and watch the sunrise of sunset. We sat around the fire pit at night and laughed for hours. The owners took great steps to build a perfect retreat. Dont hesitate to book. You will not be disappointed. This was a perfect "10" for our family.
Beautiful property. This was perfect for our family vacation including the two little ones. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the additional refrigerator was definately needed. There was plenty of room for everyone. We put the young family at one end and the late nighters at another. The family room is large enough for the little ones to play and the couch large enough for everyone to sit on. Great view, loved the firepit and the short walk to the boat dock. Just a really nice property. Thank you for a great weekend.
Our stay at Lakin' It Easy was great! This was our group's first time at Norris Lake and Paula was a great resource and host.
She was always prompt to respond and gave very thorough answers to my many questions! We had 8 adults, 10 kids and 1 infant and the house was perfect for our large group - the covered patios were perfect for late evening downtime or taking shelter from the couple of rain showers we had. The overall layout of the house is incredibly functional for a rental house and it had the most well-stocked kitchen of any rental any of us had ever stayed in. Plus there were lots of little touches throughout the house including an ice maker, tons of hooks to hang towels or wet clothes on, an extra full size fridge right off the kitchen and various baskets throughout the house that demonstrated the owners put a lot of thought and effort into making the property a perfect fit for renters. There were plenty of outdoor seating options and various hang-out spaces to ensure you never felt crowded. The location on the lake was perfect too - stunning views, excellent swimming off the covered dock, endless spots for tubing, and a short ride to various marinas. When searching for a rental at Norris, it would be hard to top Lakin' It Easy! One thing to note if you are needing to work while you are away, the internet and cell service was spotty (through no fault of the owners - the information sheet says they have the best available internet option for the area). After adjusting to this, we found it nice to unplug for the week and truly live in the moment with those around you, but a few members of our group had to unexpectedly cancel some meetings so I thought it might be helpful to let you know in advance. This property is absolutely amazing!
Our family had a great week at Lakin' It Easy. We loved the beautiful house, and Cove Pointe is a perfect area of the lake to stay.. The house has everything you would need. We cook alot and kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more Loved the Ice machine.. Also plenty of towels, etc. We did not use but there were lots of water rafts and floating devices available. This was one of favorite lake houses and annual family trip was awesome.. . The owner, Paula, was wonderful to work with- She was very patient with all of my questions and quick responses . Also the short walkway to the dock (no steps) was great especially since we have grandparents that struggle.with steps. Thanks Paula
Beautiful home, beautiful view of the lake, great location, easy access to the house, and an easy walk to the boat dock. This home worked out perfect for 14 people. My family had a great time including all 7 grandchildren (ages 3-22).
