Wonderful River Vista!

This is the perfect place for 3 couples or a family. The setting is spectacular and the house is perfect. Well equipped with everything you need, very modern on the inside - nicely done. If you like to fish, this is the place! Even if you don’t fish, this is the place!

Family Vacation

Perfect property, perfect location. Hosts were accommodating and helped us with one issue WE encountered with our travel arrangements. Excellently equipped kitchen. Trout fishing right out the back door and loved the 5 minute walk to a river rafting company. On a scale of 10, I give this property and our host an 11.

Fantastic house right on the river. Great location for both Buena Vista and Salida. If you like hiking, this house is less than 20 minutes to some beautiful hiking in the Mt Princeton area. The deck was to relax and wave to passing rafters. Would definitely stay there again when I’m back in area.

River fun!

The house was clean and comfortable. More than enough room for three big guys. The fishing was extremely easy and productive (brown trout)! We booked a trip a block away to raft the Arkansas. Very convenient location to town as well.

Great house and location on the river

The house is very well maintained and has everything you need to you need for dining and relaxation. The highlight is the beautiful location on the Arkansas. We spent a lot of time sitting by the river during the day and evening - private and peaceful. The owner is wonderful and made the entire rental process simple. Highly recommended for a stay in the Buena Vista area.

A great location

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We cooked many meals in the kitchen, and loved eating at the table looking out the huge picture window. The river held many large trout which made fishing successfully fun, even in February. The wood burning stove made a cozy, warm atmosphere. The location made it easy to enjoy both the towns of B.V. and Salida for hiking and restaurants. We also explored the beautiful drive up to St Elmo and also to Cottonwood Pass where the snow was deep enough to use our showshoes. The owner was easy to communicate with and we would stay here again if we return to the area.

Great location to River Rafting. Perfect place to “unplug,” but if you plan on doing any work or watching any TV or Netflix or checking emails, forget it. Internet connection is almost nonexistent. French press but no traditional coffee maker.

40th Birthday Celebration/Memorial Day

This property was excellent! All interiors were newly renovated. The house is beautiful inside and out. Situated right on the Arkansas River we were able to put our Kayak in upriver and exit directly on the property. Also located 10 minutes from the Mt. Princeton hot springs. Couldn’t ask for a better location. We had a cozy fire down by the river in the evening. I’d give this property 6 stars if I could.
