Renovated in 2023, Chip's Ahoy is refreshed and awaiting your family's next Cape getaway. Beachfront and close to the Gulf front pool in Barrier Dunes, Chip's has beautiful views of the sugar white sandy beaches of Cape San Blas. Barrier Dunes is a gated community on the North end of Cape San Blas that has two pools, tennis courts with pickle ball lines, playground, and 3 ponds stocked with fish and turtles. Renovated to give guests the perfect coastal retreat, Chip's is a 2 bedroom townhouse with a super loft and sleeping for 10. Spacious with updated furnishings and decor, everyone in your group will find the perfect spot to relax at the end a fun filled beach day.

Chip's Ahoy is a dog friendly unit. A maximum of two dogs is allowed with the pet fee. Couch covers and pet towels are provided for your convenience.

Great Stay!

We had a great time at Chips Ahoy. The house was right on the beach; you could take one of two boardwalks to the beach, each less than a minute walk from the door to the water. The beds were comfortable, and the master shower was great. The neighborhood was wonderful (fishing ponds, playground, nice neighbors, lots of dogs, two pools- one heated and one not). It all felt very safe and laid back. The house had everything we needed, including beach/pool toys, a wagon, chairs, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked. The renovations/furnishings were very nice. The only things I would suggest changing- some areas could've been cleaner. The master shower definitely needed a good scrubbing- lots of mold and mildew. We found several food items in drawers (a soda can, a partially eaten waffle, and a yogurt tube). The dryer did not work well- I had to dry even the smallest loads twice. The master balcony could use some shade as it is not covered (maybe an umbrella or something similar?). The view from the main floor balcony was obstructed by bushes. It would be nice for those to be trimmed down if possible, but I know sometimes these provide a habitat/erosion control.Overall, we had a great time and will definitely stay here again!

This is our favorite place we have stayed on Cape San Blas. Great location, the unit is beautiful and has great beach views. We hope to come back soon!

Great Family Vacation

Chips Ahoy is a wonderful place to stay. It is beachfront, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a beach vacation. The kitchen is well stocked and they even have beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. It is also pet friendly which is a huge bonus. I would live hear!

Fun Getaway!

We had the best time soaking up the sun on the Cape! The house was great for our needs- extra clean, spacious, and the sand toys in the closet were a big plus! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Coast is clear

We were very apprehensive about our week post Hurricane Helene. The host did a wonderful job keeping us updated and getting the house ready after the storm. We were able to spend a beautiful week at CSB and the host’s check in tips/suggestions were very helpful. The kids loved the upstairs room.

The condo was decorated very cute. The kitchen dishes were clean and everything was provided that we needdd. It did have a urine smell in two bathrooms and the den furniture looked unclean with stains making it hard to relax.

Absolutely Perfect

The location and views are both perfect. Its beach side and the master bedroom looks out over the beach. You couldnt be any closer. Both our girls absolutely loved the children's loft bedroom on the upper floor. And the cleanliness was great. About the only thing we could possibly critique is that the community turns on their sprinkler system at around 9am, which is the same time you are trying to pack your car and leave. We would definitely stay here again!

Nicely furnished. Maybe a few too many pillows on the sofa--LOL.. Just to pick nits so you can improve for the next guests. One roll of single ply toilet paper per bathroom and one of those had been dropped into water and allowed to dry and used. As cheap as one ply is, it should have been thrown out. That is the disadvantage of not opening the toilet roll and inspecting it before hanging in on the toilet roll dispenser. Television in Master bedroom very dusty. In fact, the whole condo needed a good dusting. There was sand left on the rug in the living room. We found the vacuum cleaner next to the furnace and cleaned the entire living room floor. Other than that it was a great location with great amenities.

Beautiful beach house!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful and clean with great views of the gulf. Plenty of beach chairs and sand toys for the kids to enjoy. I’m already thinking about when we can come back for another trip!

We loved our stay!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time. The unit is well decorated and has a great view. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Would love to visit again sometime!

Wow!

My family and I recently stayed at Chips Ahoy and our experience was phenomenal! - Super responsive - Friendly handyman service - Beautiful decor - Easy beach access - Stocked beach closet We flew in for our stay with young kiddos and realized we had overpacked ‘beach goodies’ when we got there because this place has multiple beach chairs, a plethora of sand toys, and boogie boards. This was awesome! The house itself is also stocked with very comfortable bedding and bath linens. The kitchen was also stocked but is limited on what pans/serving dishes/utensils are available. We had an issue with the dryer but Stefanie was on it as soon as I texted her and within 12-hours had already let me know that a new dryer was going to be delivered and installed - AMAZING! It was so nice to be able to go home with a suitcase full of clean clothes. The community is so quiet and everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and a delight. Overall, we loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Comfortable, Beautiful, Well Stocked Beachfront Retreat!

My family and I can't say enough wonderful things about our time at Chip's Ahoy. The living space, which overlooks the dunes and ocean, had 2 large sofas, 2 chairs as well as a large eating space and cozy window seat. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen I have ever come across (we could have been there for 2 weeks and still not used all of the dishes!) and all of the bedrooms had seating options as well as comfortable beds with layers of bedding. One of the things I appreciated the most is how clean the space was. Maybe the most clean house we've ever rented at the beach! Also appreciated the well stocked beach closet and the ease of access to the beach. We'll be back for sure! Thank you for sharing this gem with us!!

Perfect townhouse!

We had a great stay! The one minor issue we notified the property manager about was resolved above in beyond within minutes. Wonderful customer service. The townhouse was stocked with plenty of extras. We would gladly stay here again!

Property overall is great. Location is wonderful. You can’t see over the bushes on the main level to see the ocean but it’s growing from the protected dunes. Owner isn’t allowed to trim them so not their fault. Property was clean but had some minor imperfections that could use attention. Owner/manger was beyond nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Amazing Location!!!

Just got back from another amazing week in Cape San Blas! It truly is a remarkable place to unplug, relax, and enjoy family time. Chips Ahoy is a great location and only steps to the beach which was a plus with a 3 year old and newborn. The unit met our families needs and Michelle was great to work with and very timely in addressing our needs. The only negative for us was not being able to see the ocean and enjoy the view from the main level due to the dunes and shrubs. You can see it from one corner of the balcony if you are standing, but not as you are sitting on it. Am sure it was in the description somewhere, but I missed it. It didn't detract from our great time, but was surely missed each morning and evening.

Excellent Location

First of all, the property couldn’t have been in a better location. We love Barrier Dunes and our unit was right next to the beach access and faced the ocean. There were bushes in front of the ground level balcony, however, which did not allow us an ocean view. The balcony off the master bedroom did have an ocean view, which was nice. There were some issues with the unit itself (downstairs bathroom lock broken, broken towel bars in two of the bathrooms, and a dryer door that had to be propped closed to run). I received an immediate response when I complained and the management offered to send out someone to fix the broken lock and dryer door, but I did not want to spend one minute of my vacation time waiting for someone instead of being on the beach. I would recommend a thorough cleaning and painting to freshen up the place. Also, replace the carpet on the stairs— it’s a bit musty. Finally, put down a lot of large sisal rugs to catch the sand that invariably gets tracked inside. Oh, and there needs to be an actual shower underneath the unit in or next to the carport. The hose lying in the muck is not a good thing. Moreover, I got slightly shocked every time I touched the metal spigot to turn off the water. Scary! Otherwise, we loved our time there! Rent a bike from The San Flea and enjoy the state park and the whole peninsula. I love the Cape. My favorite spot in the world.
