Stay away!
Stay away. Avoid. We have never in all our travels encountered any accommodation nearly as bad as this one. As seasoned travelers we understand that accommodations in Europe can sometimes be dated. This apartment is simply stated, dilapidated. It does not appear to have had an improvement investments in decades.The apartment is located in an olderbuilding being renovated. The construction noise during the day is constant. When it rains, water seeps into the 8th floor hallway where the apartment is located. Mold is clearly visible on the hallway ceiling.The apartment itself is atrocious resembling a poorly maintained hostel. It is uncomfortable, damp and stinks. The place is in desperate need of renovation. The furniture is well beyond its useful life and can only be described as disgusting. The mattresses are badly worn, stained and wreak, mold spots are visible on at least two, the smell of the pillows is intolerable. The bedding is old and tattered. There is little indication of any basic upkeep of the bathrooms which are in disrepair, ceilings have mold, wall tiles are damaged and mildew stained. The towels are an assortmemt of missmatched, ragged and fadded items. Of the basic appliances provided, most do not work properly. Calls to the contact person proved him to be unreliable and unresponsive. We thought we could tolerate the horrid conditions of this place but realized we were simply spoiling our holiday so we vacated well in advance of the end date stipulated
