Enter the living room and admire the simple, yet beautiful decor reflecting the eclectic, Southwest style Santa Fe is known for. Red brick floors and exposed timber ceilings add richness and a vintage flair throughout the home. Sit back, put your feet up on the comfortable sofa with chaise, and connect to the free WiFi to check your email and share vacation photos. Then, call the family into the living room, pop some popcorn, and watch a movie together on the wall-mounted HD Smart TV with Blu-Ray player.

Cooking is a pleasure at Casa Sarita! The sunny kitchen window fills the room with natural light, and you’ll find plenty of counter space for meal prep. Serve a casual breakfast at the convenient breakfast nook or use the table as a kitchen island for extra counter space. The cabinets are fully stocked with dishes, cookware, and every tool you’ll need to prepare your favorites. Just bring your favorite foods and beverages and you’re set! For an intimate meal at home, gather the family around the table in the dining room. Windows surround this space, connecting you with the gorgeous natural landscape while you dine together in comfort. Linger into the wee hours after dinner is done to relish the great conversation, laughter, and memories in the making!

During the warmer months, the expansive courtyard surrounding the home creates an inviting backdrop for you to enjoy outdoor living as well. A warm, red adobe wall encircles the yard, and the trees and shrubs surrounding the property give you extra privacy. Bring your lunch out to the picnic table and scan the landscape for wildlife, or step outside after dark and count the stars!

The bedroom arrangement is cozy for a large family looking to experience classic Santa Fe living. Plus, Casa Sarita is a family-friendly home with beds for everyone! Settle into the tranquil primary bedroom and climb into the comfortable king-size bed to stretch out for a good night’s sleep. The spacious second bedroom offers rest, relaxation, and rustic charm with gorgeous exposed timber ceilings. Here you’ll find a queen-size bed and is the easy access to the full bathroom.

Children both big and small will be thrilled to make the bunk room off the primary bedroom home while on vacation! Two sets of bunk beds with sturdy ladders accommodate up to four guests, and these beds are plenty roomy. Colorful Southwest-style blankets top each bunk. All of the beds will be made up with fresh sheets and blankets before you arrive! A perfect destination for a close group or family as all the room adjoin for a close family to enjoy.

In keeping with the style of Casa Sarita, the bathroom combines classic Southwest charm with modern features and conveniences. Slide the barn-style door closed for total privacy then step into the beautifully tiled, walk-in shower to wake up invigorated and ready for the day. No need to bring any linens along. Fresh, soft towels will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive!

Casa Sarita is located just north of the Tesuque community on the edge of Santa Fe, so you’ll be just a hop, skip, and jump away from all the art galleries, restaurants, and shops you could want. If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can explore the nearby Sangre de Cristo Mountains immersing yourself in the untainted nature as you hike, bike, or ski. Visit the Puye Cliff Dwellings, just a short drive away, to experience firsthand the history of the area.

Chupadero adobe

We enjoyed our stay. One bathroom for 8 people was a little tricky. The kitchen, laundry, and seating was good. Space heaters worked well to keep the house warm enough. Plenty of hot water. We liked being 20 minutes out from the main plaza of Santa Fe. Beautiful area!

Beware of need to pick up/drop off keys

The property is exactly as advertised except for 1 thing - just prior to your trip the management company lets you know you have to pick up and drop off the keys at their office not far from Santa Fe Plaza. We drove down from CO so had to go past the property an extra half hour into town and then back out just to pick up the keys. Upon leaving, we had to drive another half hour south into town to drop off the keys and then head back up north. Nothing in the listing says anything about this and we found it a hassle we hadn't been made aware of. From some this may be no big deal but for others it may be. All else went perfectly well. The majority of VRBOs we've stayed at have lock boxes at the property to make it easy for all involved - not this one.

Cosy little Casa

This home was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. The house is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the historic aesthetic and didn’t mind the funky layout. It’s close to hiking trails and an easy drive into town. Would stay here again!

Beautiful location in historic house

The house was beautiful and the location was scenic, nestled in the foothills. The history of the house is palpable, and it’s a short drive to Santa Fe. There was a small hiccup with the check in process (they forgot to put the keys in our envelope), the property management company was responsive (even after hours) and resolved the problem within 20 minutes. We loved this house, our kids said it was their favorite thing about our trip.

Lovely property, interesting layout

We had a great stay at this property and it checks off all the important boxes - super clean, stunning decor, lots of space, and pet-friendly. It's a little way out of town and cell service in the area is a little spotty - which made for a great opportunity to disconnect. The only thing that was a bit funny for me was the layout of the rooms - to access the bathroom, you have to walk through a bedroom (not the master) and the bunk bed room is accessed through the master bedroom. It was fine for our stay and would be great for families, but if we were traveling with friends, it would have been a bit awkward.

Lovely spot

We really loved the quiet beauty of this spot. It was a really beautifully renovated adobe home up a quiet road near Santa Fe. We really enjoyed the space, and it was a wonderful spot to watch the nearby fireworks for Fourth of July. We took a lot of wonderful walks, and my nephew enjoyed all the easy access to mountain bike rides. Many thanks!
