Quite and Comfortable

We had a wonderful month in the house. Weather was not the warmest but we made the best of it. House needs just alittle TLC insome places. Great location to Murrells inlet area. Beautiful neighborhood to walk in. We would definitely stay there again. Definitely Best of it.house.weather

Our few days of living, and walking, underneath moss laden trees was a special early Christmas gift. Cottage was clean, bed was comfortable, and sofa created inviting reading space. The host was readily available and accommodating. We plan to return.

Cozy Cottage

This was our second visit to Cozy Cottage and it proved to be just as wonderful a week as last year. The cottage is located in a beautiful golf and country club community that is highlighted by all the amazing live oak trees on the property. The owner is a conscientious host and very easy to communicate and work with in arranging the stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Cottage was lovely and contained all amenities. Very comfortable. Lovely decorated and great location. We did however have a problem with spiders in the bathrooms.

Surprise engagement on July 4th

The quiet location draped in Spanish moss was a welcome retreat, short drive to anything and everything. My cousin and I were there to attend a surprise engagement for her son. Beds were very comfortable, decor well appointed, screened in porch perfect for morning coffee. Our only critical note was the blue pitcher was put away with stains, requiring cleaning before it could be used and drip coffee maker needed to be wiped down before use. There was no soap for dishwasher. Would certainly return for future stays (wedding showers, other pre-wedding celebrations and the BIG day)/

Beautiful place, very clean, comfortable and great location. Only recommendation is curtains in the master bedroom that can be closed at Night headlights from cars in the neighborhood and lightning kept a light sleeper awake a few times.

Beautiful House and Neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was clean, accurately described, and in a wonderful area. We enjoyed staying in Murrells Inlet near the best restaurants in the area. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful and the community pool was very nice and well equipped. There was a lot of work that happened to be done to the subdivision while we were there - pressure washing, mowing, and repaving the road and parking lot. Just the way it is, no fault of the owner. Did not diminish our stay but the neighbors had to come tell us about all of it. When and where to move our cars, etc. would have been good to hear from the owner on this, but I’m not sure how much they were told since they don’t live there. Only a mild inconvenience to a wonderful week.

What a private and amazing property! We felt very safe in the area. Clean and quiet with lots to do…books, TV and walking paths! The host is very responsive to emails! Definitely recommend this well equipped cottage in Murrell’s Inlet! We didn’t want to leave!

Peace and Contentment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "cozy cottage". Soon upon our arrival the host checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, such a friendly host. The cottage smelled so clean and fresh. It has a very open, airy feeling, lots of lamps for soft lighting. We have stayed many places over the years in the area, but this is the quietest place we have ever stayed. We love the short walk to the river, and the huge live oaks adorned with Spanish moss accented by lights at night. The choir of birds singing at dawn is a plus! The history of the plantation is so interesting. We would love to return in the future.

Live Oaks / Spanish Moss Cottage

Kitchen well supplied with utensils / pots / pans / dishes. King bed was very comfortable. Screened porch was very enjoyable. Gas grill worked very well for seafood purchased at nearby markets. The live oaks surrounding the cottage are the amazing aspect of this location that can not be underestimated.
