This is an unbelievable location 2 blocks from the beach and half a block to the hwy 101 strip where plenty of restaurants and shops. Also the fire pit for night fire and smores was amazing. Definitely would stay here again!
Had a great time overall during our stay. Plenty of amenities, entertainment, and a clean property. Beach access is close, as well as shopping and places to eat. Would definitely stay again.
Great location. Two minute walk to downtown, shops, dining, antiques. Four minute walk to beautiful beach. House was well equipped while appliances were older, all worked well. Nice fenced back yard with fire pit and chairs. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
The location is perfect! The property could use some maintenance and upkeep. The sign is peeling; shades are hanging by a thread; tiles are peeling off the wall in the kitchen; etc.
The house is cozy and cute, though.
The Coasty Cabin was the perfect size for us and our collies, and in a perfect location in town. The home was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for breakfast and dinner at home every day. The secure, fenced yard was especially important to us since we had both dogs with us. It rained while we were there and the dogs got a little muddy so having the hose outside to rinse them off was really handy.
The location worked really well for us; just 5 minutes to the grocery store or hardware store, and nearly across the street from the pet supply store. It was a short walk to the beach - which the dogs really enjoyed!
We were in town for two weeks to be the errand-runners, shoppers, and to work on household projects for our daughter and son-in-law who just had a baby. It was super convenient to be just 10 mins. to their house on the lake.
Rob was a good host and was very responsive when we had a need to reach out.
We would stay here again.
The rental price combined with the ability to have our 2 dogs with us was most important to us and this property delivered on that! The house is pretty small though and the 3rd available sleeping space is not ideal. It is a fully enclosed sun porch where the front door enters into. There is a daybed in the sun porch room. There is a large interior window between the sun porch room and the living room. Additionally the interior door between the sun porch room and the living room has a huge window. In order to use it as a bedroom (which is a bit of a misnomer due the front door being in that room) at the very least a curtain on both the window and door that is between the living room and sun room would have been ideal. So that the person sleeping on that daybed could get up and dressed with at least a bit of privacy. And anyone waking up from the other two bedrooms could sit in the living room without feeling like they might be disturbing the person sleeping in the sunroom. Also, the glass door between the sunroom and the living room would not stay closed and needs to be fixed. Whenever the furnace would kick on the door would open. My dogs went in and woke my son up who was sleeping in the sunroom, because the door kept opening giving them access.
My daughter came to visit one night with us, but left because the house was not up to her standards. The carpets were stained and the trims/baseboards were a bit grubby in spots.
Overall though the house met our needs.
We only stayed one night but found the house very accommodating and a great location. Rob worked with us and was able to get us in early, which was extremely helpful.
Location was fantastic, walkable to place to eat and easy way to beach. The space was also easy to set up for a toddler on the loose - we just moved a few of the cute light out figurines out of reach and used a baby fence to both block access to kitchen and access to dvds and magazines that a toddler would LOVE to pull off the shelf. Large room with enough space for our pack n play. Yard was great for our pooch and house was equipped with everything and more that we could need - even a pizza slicer!
Stayed at the coasty cabin 4 days. very comfortable and clean. Has a fenced backyard that would be great for dogs. short walk to the beach and a shorter walk to the main drag. Lots of shops and food. Would stay again.
Thanks !
Cozy little spot with a fenced-in yard. Perfect for traveling with dogs. Quiet neighborhood (even despite being a half block away from theain strip) and easy access to the beach (about two blocks away).
This is the second time we stayed in this amazing home because we like it so much. It’s in a great location, just a couple blocks from the beach and town.
The fenced in back yard has a nice fire pit and lights hanging in the trees. It’s truly magical and the dogs love it.
The beds are really comfy. I always sleep so good when we stay there.
I have to say though that I was disappointed in the amount of things that had been broken and the owner has repaired since we stayed there 6 months ago. I feel blessed that Rob opens his home to us and treat it like our own. I just wish everyone did. 😞
I highly recommend this home and the owner Rob is great to work with.
BONUS: the bar and grill a couple of blocks from the house has great food. Everything we ordered was so good!
Very cute house, walking distance from the beach. Owner was easy to get ahold of and was very pleasant. An actual a secure fenced backyard. This house is something we could live in. Next visit we'll stay here. Thank you Rob for being so kind in our communications.
