Great Breckenridge Get Away

Clean, spacious, well-appointed property with outstanding views. Very comfortable beds, nice comfortable seating area, good lighting. Excellent amenities. Highly recommend this for a family ski trip.

Fantastic spot!

The stay was magnificent! The views, the place, the location and Debbie were all exactly what you could hope for when searching for a place to rest your head in Breck. Perfect accommodations, the place is astonishing with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows to capture the amazing view. Very convenient access to the mountain and trails. Can't wait to book again!

Great views and location.

Ski access was definitely our priority for this trip, and the property delivered well. Ski-out was a short walk around the corner to a well marked hiking trail entrance, then an easy to follow moderate moving path through a clearing and over a small footbridge. Depending on conditions and your speed, you might need to push for a few yards to get onto the Lower Lehman trail (which itself may be a bit laborious towards the end). Ski-in starts near where Cimarron meets Flapjack (note, Cimarron was often closed for racing), this is well marked by some danger (leaving boundary) signs, and is quite a bit longer while ending at the same spot as the ski-in route. There’s only one decision you need to make while on this trail (stay right), but it takes a bit more effort to keep speed and make it across a field. It’s worth a try at least once, but even for advanced and experts, the shuttle is likely a better option to get back unless you enjoy side country, skinning, etc. At the end of a hard charging day, it could be a bit of an unanticipated workout. The shuttle itself is right at the corner, drops just at the other side of Maggie’s pond, and only services the top section of warriors mark, which is quite nice if you’re trying to leave at the end of the day as you don’t have to worry about crowds as much as you would for any of the other shuttles. The drivers are very friendly and are glad to help direct you to the Quicksilver lift. As for the property, it was very clean and spacious. High ceilings, great views, and an extremely well equipped kitchen (rarely see a juicer, decent blender, espresso machine, etc. in a rental). We ran into a couple of issues, but the property manager was very responsive and made sure we weren’t bothered as they were addressed. I would note that this is the lower level of a 2 unit property, and while they are complete separate entrances (we didn’t see the other occupants once over 5 nights), we were able to hear them coming and going throughout the trip.

Perfect for a ski getaway long weekend

Group of friend reunited for a long ski weekend and the unit was clean, well stocked with everything you would need, and owner was a great communicator. With a little research this is definitely a ‘ski out’ unit and with a modest uphill walk, it’s a ‘ski in’ as well. Super close to downtown Breck to boot. Definitely recommend.

Breckenridge VRBO is a great place

Great location, beautiful views and found a path around the corner to hit the slopes! No complaints at all! Will stay again if we go back to Breckenridge! Highly recommend…

Great location!

Ideally situated and a very short drive to downtown Breck. Well appointed kitchen with all the utensils you could ask for. Back bedroom has issues with baseboard heat which property manager is aware of. Debbie the property manager was wonderful to work with! Great sunrise view. Saw a fox each morning of our stay. This is the lower level unit which means the floors are quite cold. Bring some slippers or thick socks!

We spent the Covid lockdown in Breckenridge with our children and discovered that we LOVE it! Skiing, Hiking, dining out...it is such a wonderful community! We purchased this wonderful condo in March '21 and are so happy to share it with you!

Why they chose this property

We love the location. For expert skiers, this is considered a ski in/ski out property. Wonderful hiking and cross country ski trails, too! And, did we mention the VIEWS?
