Freinds Family Fun

Ravens Roost is the perfect place for family and freinds to come together. The house was perfect for the people who wanted to relax and visit and close enough to some fantastic hike for the more energetic of the group. A fantastic weekend!

Spacious home for 5

Conveniently located near the town centre, well-equipped kitchen, nice backyard with children's play equipment and lawn chairs, fans on the ceiling in each room helped with the heat. Batteries for the fans and the TV however need to be replaced as they are expired so they didn't work.

It was good for our needs

the house is small. its the upstairs only. No laundry available. the driveway is small and parking is limited. the Host didn't give any instructions on how to gain access to the property until asked a few days before our trip. The back yard was unusable with knee high grass. I Love Tumbler and the area and wish there was more places to stay so I'm glad this place is available to for people to come and explore the area. We were there to explore the area by ATV and had a trailer with us. So the parking was awkward but I'm sure that was unique to us.

Raven Roost Tumbler Ridge BC

Great stay. Enjoyed the amenities in the house. Lots of great kitchen extras with spices, zip lock bags, storage containers. Very well stocked kitchen. BBQ was great. In the living area games, paper & pens, info about the area with brochures. Beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. Had a little trouble running the dishwasher, but did get it working properly. The pots seemed to stick with anything we tried to fry. But able to clean anyway. We did not use the fire pit as we thought there might be a fire ban on as the area was so dry. But it looked enticing to use along with wiener sticks. And some Playground equipment for young families. We very much enjoyed our stay in Tumbler Ridge. Ate dinner in every night with wonderful kitchen and dining facilities.

Tumbler Ridge home away from home

I can't say enough great things about this property and the owners! The house, bbq, and beds were exactly what we needed for our few days of hiking and for my mom who stayed behind on the longer hikes. The place was so clean, all the extras we would need were provided. We didn't have time to use the gorgeous backyard, so we will be back to enjoy that!! ( it is perfectly fenced for privacy and for pets!)

What a great spot! Nice quiet neighbourhood, cozy and comfy and best of all, everything i wanted in the kitchen was there when i looked for it (not everywhere has wire racks, parchment paper qnd a rice cooker!). BBQ was in great condition, qnd it was very nice to bbq with a view of the mountains. Kids loved having disney channel at night, and the dog friendliness was exactly what our old dogs needed. Well stay again for sure.

Great stay

My only problem is when we went to use the bbq it worked great for about 5 minutes but then it ran out of propane and couldn’t refill it because the tank was pad locked to the house. Also there wasn’t any internet like it says in the ad.

Why they chose this property

Looking out the bedroom windows at pine trees and aspen moving in the fresh mountain breeze, relaxing around the fire in the backyard, or taking a stroll downtown, the Raven's Roost is in a great location with plenty of privacy and a healthy dose of zen.
