Crew of four working out of town. We have stayed on two separate occasions and loved the cleanliness, privacy and location. Excellent host with prompt communication. Will not hesitate to stay here again.
Four of us staying out of town for work. This place is clean and tidy. Loved the back yard fire pit and playing corn-hole. Will stay here again. The process was flawless.
The house is great. It accomodated 6 of us without any issues. Located less than a 1/4 mile from Dollar General and within 3 miles from Rockhouse and Devil Anse/Bufflo Mountain. Evette is a great host. Will be returning on our next trip.
We enjoyed our stay at Miss Piggy’s Farmhouse. There was nice parking for 2 trucks with trailers. We had beds for everyone in our group which were very comfortable.
This is our 3rd year staying at this property and will continue to reserve this house every year in the future. Great amenities added year after year. The Blackstone for cooking is amazing, the fire pit along the creek, and the new covered picnic area make this property feel like home! We only have thanks and appreciation for this house and host!!
House was clean and comfortable. Within 6 miles to trail head. Plenty of parking neighbors were nice. Could use a regular coffee pot had to go buy one .
We had a great time staying at Miss Piggy’s Farmhouse! The house was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals. The host was friendly and always responsive! The neighbor across the street even checked on us a couple times. Would recommend the stay!!
We loved our stay at Miss Piggy’s farmhouse! The place was so clean & fresh with everything you could possibly need. (Even a pressure washer!) The parking was excellent for trailers, close proximity to multiple trails - no trailering to the trail head locations needed. Lots of outdoor chairs, a cozy fire pit & right next to the creek. We will most definitely return to this location & can’t wait!! Thank you, Evette for everything!!
This house had more space than I expected! There were 2 queen, 1 king and 2 twin beds along with a pull our sofa bed. Everything was clean and comfortable. There are even 2 dinging room tables so you can seat 10 at tables for dinner.
The house was very hard to find because it isn’t where google maps says it should be. In addition it is a decent drive to get into the trails. It’s not super long just further than I expected because, again, maps says it is in a different location than it actually is.
All in all I would highly recommend this house to others heading to the Hatfield McCoy trails!
Very well thought out design of home. Easy access to trails in two directions. Block away from the Dollar General and Pizza Palace. Huge side lot for multiple rigs. Beautiful deck on back overlooking a babbling brook. Nice sized covered porch on front. All top of the line appliances and amenities.
We couldn't be happier with our choice of lodging! Great location, clean, spacious, and had everything you would need from home!!!! We loved the firepit along the creek! We will definitely be coming back to this location in the future!!! Great hosts!!!
The property was extensively updated and very clean. I loved the front porch, fire pit area and the stream outback was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.
The house was very clean and well stocked with linens and towels. Nice covered front porch and a fire pit out back with plenty of wood provided to burn. We had plenty of parking for our 3 trucks with trailers. Convenient to multiple trail entrances on Hatfield-McCoy. We will definitely be back here to stay.
We had an awesome time! The House is very spaciouse, clean and in a great location. All kitchen supplies, bedding and bath towels were available. We will be coming back for sure!
This is a beautiful space. A short road drive to the Hatfield and McCoy trails. Because it rained we didn’t get to enjoy fire pit with a bonfire, but there was plenty of wood cut if the weather had cooperated. Great communication with the owners. Perfect space for our group of riders.
Very clean, nice and plenty of room for our group.
Very friendly and helpful people that made our stay agreed. If you have questions about the trail head or trails stop at Sherry Bo’s, The food is great, very helpful!
We stayed here when coming down to ride trails with side by sides and UTV. We all slept comfortably.
Accessing trails was about 4-5 miles on black top, but it was an easy ride. Close enough to Williamson and other trail heads if you want to trailer there.
The coffee maker and TV worked well - decent internet connection. Although, we had AT&T and T-Mobile service with iPhones - we were unable to make/receive calls from the house.
Please note - when navigating to the address, use Apple Maps. Google and Waze both dropped pins that were a few miles down the road.
Would stay again!
