magical house

This property is better, more charming than described on the VRBO site. The photos do not really show a special magical charm of this house. We were able to watch sunrise and sunset from the comfort of the house. We enjoyed beautiful gardens. House is very spacious. There were 8 of us, the maximum allowed, but the house can easily accommodate more people. All and all we had fantastical time. Highly recommended.

Great escape from the city

We celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and loved our stay in Stinton beach. Angela and Yarrow have an amazing house with great views; a perfect place for the family to celebrate. The 10-minute walk to the beach allowed us to avoid traffic/parking and just enjoy the water and the waves. We would definitely stay there again.

Stinson Beach getaway

Just an absolutely amazing home and garden. Incredibly peaceful, serene home and setting. The gardens were wonderful for morning coffee. Great hike right from the home. If there were 6 stars, this place deserves it.

Wonderful Home with Stunning Views

This was a last minute getaway for my family. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with gorgeous views of the ocean and the sound of waves crashing that I already miss. The kitchen had a sweet surprise of fresh bread, peach jam, and lemons that were freshly picked. We really appreciated this! The location was ideal for great hiking and walks to Stinson beach. It was so easy book surf lessons too and rent boards. We had a blast and then enjoyed peaceful nights in the hot tub and listening to the ocean from our bedrooms. We will always cherish this special getaway! Thank you so much for having us!

Coast Ridge Paradise

The house was extraordinary! Pictures don't do it justice, but the view is unreal. The location doesn't get better, short walking distance to town and hiking trails right from the home! Yarrow and Angela were extremely kind and helpful and we hope we can visit again sometime!!

A wonderful escape!

The property was everything we hoped and more. It was a perfect launching spot for exploring Stinson Beach and hopping on the numerous trails within a short walking distance of the house. And it was a wonderful place to return home to and spend the evenings cooking dinner in the well laid out kitchen and enjoying the sunset from the deck or the hot tub. We would love to return and stay in the house again. The hosts were also very communicative and left clear instructions for check in/out and enjoying the house. Thumbs up all around.

Magical spot!

Our family was lucky enough to enjoy a week at this very special spot over the holidays. We loved this property and hope to return sometime soon. Correspondence prior to our arrival with Yarrow was easy--he was very responsive and helpful. We received excellent instructions on arriving and accessing the property, and despite arriving in a rainstorm, we felt like we had arrived in a haven. The house was extremely clean and spacious. With bedrooms and baths for our whole group, everyone felt immediately relaxed. The beds were so comfortable with lovely linens, all in soothing colors. Though close to the Panoramic Highway, you felt worlds away, as you are surrounded by beautiful garden area and look out on the ocean horizon views. We even saw dolphins in the distance. The house is very spacious, with many areas for sitting and reading, or just hanging out. Great fully stocked kitchen for making family meals, which was especially nice as we cooked the majority of our meals. There is a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as sauna in the garden, perfect for relaxation. There is a lovely trail close by that takes you into Stinson Beach, a charming spot, with an incredible beach for walks or just enjoying the sights and sounds of the surf, as well as some cute restaurants and a small market for necessities. In addition, there are so many other trails near by, including the Dipsea trail, a great trail through the woods all the way to Mill Valley. Yarrow was always available for questions or advice. We couldn't imagine a better place to start off the New year than this very special retreat, and hope to be able to return!

Can't wait to go back

We loved this home. I don't even know where to begin. It was absolutely perfect for our group of 7 women. There are 6 bedrooms and 8 or 9 beds that are some of the most comfortable I've slept on outside of my own at home. Every bedroom has a view of the ocean. The bedroom linens and decor were lovely and beautiful, as was the whole home. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The views to the ocean and horizon were beautiful. One of my favorite parts of the stay was how clearly we could hear the ocean, day and night. Very soothing. We also enjoyed the hot tub every day. The views of the mountains and coast line from the hot tub, as well as the garden setting, were fabulous. There was also ample room inside the home for hanging out. There is an outdoor dining table and sitting area as well, which we didn't use because it rained during our stay and the outdoor furniture was often damp. Even though this home is not far from Panoramic Highway, it feels worlds away. In fact, our first morning a bobcat wandered into the front yard and stayed for half an hour. There are many top notch hiking trails that can be accessed yards from the home and the beach is a short walk away. The managers are kind and easy to work with. I was glad to know we could contact them directly if we had questions or problems during our stay (which we did not), which has not always been the case with VRBO homes. The only very minor "cons" to be aware of: quiet after 8pm is expected. In our case, we just stayed inside and kept the background music low after 8, and I don't think we bothered anyone. Some in my group complained about the Wifi, but I personally don't think Wifi access on vacation is a problem. Some of the glasses need to be hand washed. One of our group likes to do dishes (not me!) so she washed all of our wine glasses, but if this would put a damper on your vacation, bring your own wine glasses. Again, these are very minor cons! I would return again in a heart beat and hopefully will with this same or another group of friends.
