My family has stayed in Flagler Beach almost every summer for the past ten years, and we never grow tired of it. The townhouse is a fantastic location, being as close to being right on the beach as you can get. A quick hop across A1A, and your toes are sandy. For my family of four, the setup in the townhouse is perfect - a king bed in the master and twins in the second bedroom. This year, I was delighted to see the renovations that were done since the last stay, which included the replacement of the shower/tub with a nice walk-in shower. I found that a lot more practical and convenient.
As usual, this townhouse came well-stocked with kitchen appliances, cookware, and serving ware. There is a Keurig coffee maker for those wanting a home-brewed cup (though, keep in mind there are a bunch of coffee shops within literal walking distance of the townhouse). The property has a nice pool area for those days when a trip to the beach is just too much effort. In addition to a beautiful, quiet beach, the area has easy access to fishing, bike trails (both paved and mountain-biking trails), grocery stores, and a movie theater. What you won't find in Flagler is the craziness and congestion of some other beaches.
I almost hate to leave too good a review about the property, as I don't want to give away a "secret spot", but if easy-going relaxation is what you're looking for, this is the place.
