New (14x24') screened in porch with dining room table, recliner/sofa, and daybed, overlooking lake. Fresh herb garden outside of modern kitchen with 28.7 cu ft refrigerator. Mainfloor bedroom with king size bed, french doors onto adjacent porch, and adjacent bathroom with walk-in shower. Four bedrooms upstairs with tub/shower complex. Outdoor hot shower. Lake living at it's grandest. Remote location (30 minute drive on partially paved, partially dirt road). Free firewood for campfires! Outdoor security camera at entrance.

A great time on beautiful Lake George

We all had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. The owner was accessible, helpful and friendly, and our overall experience was just great.

Could not have been better

Our Lake George experience began shortly after making our booking. Jim, the homeowner, reached out with information about the house and surrounding area, and to answer our questions. The lovely spacious house is located on an a expansive secluded property with a lake view and easy access to endless scenic hiking trails. We enjoyed exploring the area during the day and watching the sun set over the lake in the quiet evenings while warming ourselves by a crackling campfire. The historic well-maintained house was recently renovated by skilled craftsmen who preserved the farmhouse feel. There are all the standard amenities plus elegant touches throughout that you wouldn’t expect to find in a rental property. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch with ample comfortable seating and a large table for outdoor dining. Jim was a gracious host, checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and even providing a row boat for us to explore the lake. This is an ideal home base for hiking, biking, boating, nature photography, family gatherings, and relaxing. We would absolutely book this property again for another memorable vacation.
